Well, between my tirade at the end of my 3 hour ordeal with the MS rep, my mini-vent here and smerlus' bright side of leaving the stalkers behind--something worked. This afternoon I half-heartedly hit the 'try again' option to attempt to recover my gamer tag, and *gasp*, it started thinking about it! It took nearly an hour and a half to recover, but recover it did. Yay! (And smerlus, if you say it's just 'cuz I'm a girl, Imma gonna come to NY just to smack ya!!

LOL beutlich. I'd like to think that it was because I was so polite and patient throughout the ordeal--up until the point he told me I may need to purchase a new gold membership (that's when I turned on him), but I will concede the possiblity exists ever so slightly. Though I think my gender impresses actual gamers (what is it w/ some of you guys--nm forget I asked lol) more more than foreign customer service reps...

I got the three red lights and you think if I called MS customer service is would myseriously work? no way.... but since you're a woman you can bet they'd fix that over the phone for you.
