A couple of years ago, i got a gameboy advance. it was awesome but i didn't see a title that stood out. One day, i went to k-mart to but a new GBA game. While looking, i saw a game called advance wars. I was subscribed to Game Informer at the time(and i still am) and i remember it got a really good review. So, even though it was 30 dollars i still bought it. When i first played it, i really didn't know what to expect. I've never played a stragety game before and it was really new to me. After a week though, i was hooked. I've never seen a game so original in my life. I was playing it constantly just to rank up. I loved the training mode, it was perfect. The story was cool and easy to follow. it's funny though, i never could beat the last level though(if anyone could help me, that would be awesome. I have Grit, andy, and eagle on my team.). I got excited about the sequel as well. ironiclly, i'm stuck on the last level of that one as well(once again, any help would be apprecialed). The funny thing is that advance wars coming out on the DS ended up being the deciding reason i got the handheld(that and the fact that it plays advance games). i could only imagine getting stuck on the last level on that one as well. For now though, i'll sit back and play advance wars 2 hoping for the DS version to come out sooner then later.

While reading the Ghost in a shell review on GS, It made a lot of refrences to Oni, a game that came out earier for PS2. What i wann know is what is so bad about Oni. I picked it up about a year a go and my one friend kept saying how stupid it looked and that it was a waste of money. Well, dispite that and bad reviews about the game i bought it anyway(after all, it was under ten dollars). After i learned the controls and got a feel for it, i realized that the game was incredibly awesome. I've never seen a game mix shooting and hand-to-hand combat so well. The story was awesome and very interesting. Also, the incentive of learning new moves after pretty much every level is also a plus. The first time i willow kicked an enemy it brought tears to my eyes cause i was laughing so hard. There are a ton of weapons from handguns to bazookas to screamers to mercury veil shooting guns. The levels are awesome. The airport level(level 5) is so fun. it's soo cool sniping enemies from behind an airplane. I'd give the game an 8 out of 10. The next time i read a GS review and the game is compared to ONi, i'll laugh and add it to my wish list.

I've trying to figure out what to ask for on easter cause my folks will he me one game. here is what it's down to.

Devil May Cry (PS2), Rise to Honor(PS2), DDR Extreme(PS2), RPG Maker 2(PS2), Ghost in a Shell(PS2), Dynasty Warriors DS(DS), Eye toy:Anti-grav(PS2), Samuria Warriors(PS2), or Fire Emblem(GBA).

Yes i know there are a ton of PS2 games on the list but i don't have an X-box or gamecube. Also, i'm not exactly sure if Dynasty Warriors will be out by them.

any help on my decision will be appreciated.

Some people just don't have opinions. Like BlinkinPark716.
