My 2007 finished games list.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I just got back from Muay Thai and was going over my daily Joystiq feed and saw that Secret of Mana was released on the Wii VC....so 800 points later and I am ready to give my buddy a call to come over tomorrow to start playing!
What a wonderful suprise! I'm so glad Squeenix didnt just do a DS port and actually decided to put this on the VC.
So now with Shining Force 2 and Secret of Mana, plus the rumor of updated Rogue Squadron games coming out on one disk, it's a good thing I didnt sell that Wii a month or so ago!
- Rented Soul Caliber 4 for PS3 from Gamefly....I give it a 7/10...played through almost all of the story mode (only had three people left to complete) and about 25 levels of the tower with some created characters. I feel the game is polished graphic wise, but its pretty much the same exact game as SC3...I dont know, I was just dissapointed and returned it within a week.
- Rented Boom Blox for Wii from Gamefly...I give it a 7/10. Some of the levels are plain fun, but I almost blew through the entire game in two sittings...perhaps that is a testament to how addicting it is. I'll probably return this one on Monday. I do enjoy creating my own levels, but being that I dont have random friends come over as often as I use to (probably due to being married) I only get to play them by myself.
- Bought Shining Force 2 for the Wii Virtual Console...that game makes me happy.
- I'm really excited for Yakuza 3 (still need to buy/play Yakuza 2) and No More Heroes 2!
What I'm playing this weekend if I get time:
- Finishing the last few levels Boom Blox
- WoW: trying to dual box a rogue/warlock combo up using "recruit a friend". Got them to 34 in 10 hours playtime.
- LBP beta...trying to redo the story mode and build my level again as my save got corrupted...wtf?
I got into the Little Big Planet beta yesterday and after a short download and a quick tutorial, I was off to the races! I went through about 4 levels to collect some stickers and then built my own level (titled "DEATH MACHINE") and spent about 2 hours just trying different stuff. Simply amazing.
Then I played multi-player through some player created content with an old Gamerankings buddy, Johnny. Needless to say, we had a great time decorating his "home" and playing around in some of the multiplayer levels.
I seriously can't wait to get my hands on the final version.
I implore anyone playing this to send me a friend request so we can rock it together for the next day or so....and then play it when it hits retail!
