This is one of those movies that alot of people will just hate because it doesn't conform to the rules of the movies that they're used to watching. The Weather Man has its own unique style. It's very dark, somewhat funny, and highly moving....

This is one of those movies that alot of people will just hate because it doesn't conform to the rules of the movies that they're used to watching. The Weather Man has its own unique style. It's very dark, somewhat funny, and highly moving. However, it's not meant to be an average comedy that people are used to, though it's still funny. Nicolas Cage did an excellent job being the very depressed Dave Spritz. The music is subliminally sublime. The only major negative I can come up with is the slow and muddled story. If you can't stand films that aren't like every other film you've watched, don't watch this. Otherwise, this film is recommended.

That Adam Sandler. He's so goofy, yet he can handle those emotional moments. Click is similar.
So, here we have this architect. He has a wife and two children, but his life still sucks. His job is destroying his soul. So what does he do? He uses some kind of a supernatural remote to play around with his life. This, as you may expect, is hilarious. You've seen this kind of stuff before. Introduction to how much life sucked before. Then after. funny stuff happens. But then, it all goes wrong. Kinda like Bruce Almighty actually. I won't tell you how this happens (just in case you haven't managed to glean the information from somewhere), but it ruins his life. Not just presently, but fore eternity. This is the aforementioned emotional part. It's all very well done. The aging is also very well done (no spoilers here!). If you liked Adam Sandler's other movies, you'll consume this one, in a good way. If you don't, you might mildly enjoy it. I liked it. You ought to give it a chance at least.
