Chase has been an orphan since he was 2. At the age of 13, he turned to drugs and street crime to pay the bills. Eventualyy he was arrested but made it out of police custody on a $3.4 million bond. Afterwards, he joined the Marines to contribute his part against the onslaught of Covenant forces. No one knows what happened to him. Some say he died when his Warthog flipped over, crushing him and the gunner. Some say he left with his battalion to bring the fight to the aliens. No one truly knows.
