Were do we stand now?

Coming off the shocking news of Final Fantasy XIII's jump to the 360, the tide of the console war has been shifted, shaken and warped completey on its head.Following what has been a trend among former sony loyalist developers, Square Enix made it clear that they have no ally is this war. This point carves the idea in stone that, third party developers now s

ee the potentional of releasing multiplatform games and the profitable advances that will come with it. When was the last time you've seen Madden only on a Sony console or Splitter Cell or Ninja Gaiden just on XBOX or HALO not develop a MULTPLATFORM Game(its possible)..........

Thats it, this war is over, it ends in a STALEMATE.

No, this is not nessecarily true. Even though we may begin seeing all third party games from here on out on both consoles, there still is one deciding factor in this long gueling war. That factor is first party games.

Games like Gears Of War 2 and Too Human for XB360 and Resistance 2 and Little Big Planet for PS3 are going to be the tide shifters in this war from here on out.This is because SOFTWARE moves units as we have seen many times before on may different occasions. Just take a look at GTAIII, it basically sold ps2 of the shelves. THis is information you do know, but i bring it up to prove the point.

Having (almost) Every game exseable for all consoles....making fansboys have nothing to bicker over than which consoles menu screens are better........finally creating a competely conformed world.......a world without difference.....a world without change.....

Now that the gaming industry has turned into the econimic equaliant to the Soviet Union, expect to see alot of Top Notch First Party games and more of the same from every one else. SO YES we get great games from Microsoft Game Studios and Sony Computer Entertainment, but nothing exclusive from anyone else.

MGS4 has been consuming me. Even though I finished the game, on Tuesday, the online portion and all the unlockable goodies have been keeping me coming back for more every time. This game is the game of the year with out a doubt and My pick for game of the Decade. Thats it just a rant now enjoy this picture of Raiden.
