I finally got an acceptance letter in the mail so I'm happy at the moment even if it is from WSU my 3rd choice school . They are offering me 5000 bucks which isnt really that much in the grand scheme of things but its still nice to be offered moola!

I was surprised/annoyed with how fast they responded I sent it last Friday and whatdoya know theres an acceptance letter almost right away over a holiday break, makes me wonder if they even read that crap I spent forever typing

Anyhoo lifes going surprisingly well considering all the crap I'm putting everyone through so... peace!

University of Washington, Central Washington University, and Eastern Washington University which I chose as an extra safe back-up. I want UW though but they seem to take forever to reply

Damn dude, you need to apply to more than 3 colleges. Prolly not a great idea. Happened to my mom, top girl in her whole class, applied to two colleges, didn't get into one, ended up at a school that was just pretty good.

Well I'm in Running Start so I'll be graduating with my transfer degree and diploma, so I think I'll get in no problem, all my friends who were a year older did the same thing and got accepted. I only chose the four because I can't afford out of state education and these schools all offer Speech Pathology which is what I'm interested in.

How many did you apply for? Each ap is like $50 and I can't see justifying spending all that money when I know I can get into a school that offers what I need.

I'm only a high school freshman but I already have thought of at least 10 to apply for. Main choices in mind are Stanford, Pepperdine, UCSB, and USC, but I have other choices. Like you I'm going for in-state colleges, but as many high level schools as I can. Stanford is my first choice because of the high level of education and good athletics, particularly volleyball which is my sport. The Stanford coach has seen me lay while scouting and thought I was really good so I'm off to a good start. But good luck getting into your top pick!
