Blog Post- 132

Hey everyone!

EDITOR ALERT: I just became an editor for Dolores O'Riordan, who is the lead singer of my favorite band, "The Cranberries". It's been quite a few months since my last editorship (Adam Lambert in March- ish). I've noticed a trend in all of my editorships. Everybody is either a singer, a reality show contestant, or both. It's only funny cuz it's TV.com, not MP3.com. Anyways, Dolores O'Riordan has a fantastic Irish voice. I love how she sings. And in "Cranberries" news, they are reforming for a reunion tour that will start this November (they went on hiatus in 2001). I would DIE for a ticket. Just DIE for one.

Also, today is the final day of August (obviously). I think I may have set a personal record for most blogs in a month. This post will be my tenth since the start of August. Ending August is okay I guess, except for the fact that every week from this point on seems to feel colder and colder. A great thing about September's start though is LABOR DAY WEEKEND. I was originally supposed to go camping (which I haven't done in years!), but apparently all the sites near our house are full (oh, well). What are you all doing during labor day weekend (I'm sorry if it is working, cuz that would be sort of against the point of Labor Day)?

Also, one more movie review. I SWEAR! I saw "Taking of Pelham 123" on Saturday night in a theatre that plays movies that are already a few months old.

STARRING: John Travolta and Denzel Washington

DESCRIPTION: The movie is about armed men that hijack a New York City subway train, holding the passengers hostage in return for a ransom, and turning an ordinary day's work for dispatcher Walter Garber into a face-off with the mastermind behind the crime. (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1111422/)

RATING: I thought it was a great action flick. I will admit that some parts did tend to lag on and that it was predictable during a few scenes. However, I thought it was still pretty good, and worth it, even though if you haven't seen it you'll have to wait until it's out on DVD (and cuz I saw it so late, there's probably at least a moderate chance that it may already be on DVD).

TTYL!

You know, Dolores reminds me of a limerick from VH1's "Pop-Up Video" which goes like this: "There was a young woman from Ireland, / Who wanted to sing in a hire band. / She was told by her mum, / 'You should go be a nun,' / So instead she sang out on a choir stand." Weird.

Congrats on becoming the editor of Dolores O'Riordan. I love the Cranberries. I am definitely going to relax labour day weekend.
