Alanis Morissette is the the most talented musician on the planet. She is my favorite all time singer. She sings songs such as "You Oughta Know", "Ironic", You Learn", "Hand in my Pocket", "Mary Jane", "Head Over Feet", "Unsent", " Thank U", "So Pure", "Front Row", "Hands Clean", "Everything", "Eight Easy Steps", "Underneath", "Not as We", "Torch", and "Tapes" to name some of her songs from her five albums "Jagged Little Pill", "Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie", " Under Rug Swept", "So-Called Chaos", and her recent release " Flavor's of Entanglement". Alanis has a real talent for songwriting and has a real amazing vocal range. She is a lot better than any pop singer who is not a real artist like herself. Alanis Morissette is the best out there for 13 years now, when she released her first worldwide album.

Vonzell Solomon was on the fourth season of American Idol. She was really fun and she always smiled everytime she was on and off the stage. Not only that, but she could sing!!!!! She took on so many dificult songs and made them great like: Chain of Fools, Respect, If I Aint Got You, I Turn To You, I'm Every Woman, I Have Nothing, and her personal best and most popular song she did- Best of My Love. She was one of the most positive contestants on the show and always gave it her best. She had a brilliant voice and had to compete in a year that had really good male vocalists. She was the only female vocalist who kept up to Carrie Underwood, and that earned her 3rd place. Vonzell is pretty amazing.

Nadia Turner came in eighth place on season 4 of American Idol. I thought that she was a superb singer, and should have made it further than she did. Nadia did have some troubles some weeks, like making the bottom 2 for singing Cyndi Lauper's "Time After Time". However she had stunning weeks like when she sang " You Don't Have To Say You Love Me" by Dusty Springfield. It is one of American Idol's best performances it has ever experienced. Nadia had lots of good competition in season 4 like Carrie Underwood, Bo Bice, Vonzell Solomon, Constantine Maroulis, and Anwar Robinson so she really did well considering that. Nadia is very stunning and is a great singer with lots of experience.

Mandisa Hundley (known under her first name, Mandisa) is a very talented singer. She was a great vocalist who left the show "American Idol" far too early. She wanted to win the competition to show that even "big girls" (in her words) can win. One of her finest weeks on "American Idol" was when she sang the song "I'm Every Woman" by Chaka Khan. She nailed the song which advanced her into the top 12 easily. She had many similar weeks where she belted out a song perfectly. She went home on country week singing "Any Man of Mine". She should have gone further. Mandisa is one of the best idols ever.

Jennifer Hudson is a spectacular singer and actress. She has won a Golden Globe and an Oscar. She desrved both awards for her role in the movie Dreamgirls as Effie. She has the perfect voice for the movie. Her voice should have carried her at least to the top three of American Idol in season 3, but she surprisingly left in 7th place. I was shocked especially because Jennifer was a stunning singer. She's now got a successful career underway which is really good because she desrves it more then lots of other stars in the world. Jason is one of the most talented musicians to ever sing on the American Idol stage. He is pretty nervous and feels awkward behind a camera and doesn't like giving interviews, but if he can sing, which he can, then really who cares? He has such an original yet simple voice that is unbelievable. He doesn't have to run around the stage just trying to get the crowd on there feet because he has an amazing power to be so simple and pure that he doesn't need that. When he sang "Hallelujah" on American Idol, it was the best version of that song that I have ever heard. He can make it a long way in life if he just keeps it up, which shouldn't be a problem.

Carly Smithson of American Idol is unbelievably talented. She is from Ireland originally but moved to San Diego, California. She auditioned for American Idol on Season 5 and made it through, but due to issues with her visa, she was disqualified. I think it took an amazing amount of courage to come back and audition in season 7, but I'm so glad that she ended up doing it. She has such a strong powerful voice that is just breathtaking. Even though there is alot of controversy over her having a previous record label, I don't care because I think she can possibly win American Idol, because she is just a vocal powerhouse. She will succeed, I just know it.

Ayla Brown is a fantastic singer that deserved to be in the top 12 on Season 5 of "American Idol". Ayla is a basketball playing girl, who happens to have an extraordinary voice. She made the top 24 on season 5 of American Idol. She sang with enthusiasm every week for three weeks singing songs like "Reflection" and "Unwritten". However on a very surprising note, she was voted off, giving the final female spot to Melissa McGhee. However hope was not lost. Back in August of 2006 Ayla signed a record deal. Now she has an album, "Forward", and plays basketball for Boston College. I personally rate Ayla a 10, because she has an astounding voice and is also successful in the sport of basketball. I think she has much potential, and she will achieve in life.
