Blog Post-79

First off- Happy Labor Day!... or what's left of it anyway!

Secondly- My favorite two singers are Alanis Morissette and Jason Mraz. In a previous blog post (the 75th, I think) I posted the video of Jason Mraz's new song "I'm Yours" which as I write is 4th on the iTunes top 100 chart and one of Alanis previous album covers is my personal info picture. I found new stuff off of his new album ( "We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things"), as well as Alanis Morissette's new album "Flavors of Entanglement". They are two of the few true artists in the world right now. So give them a listen:

ALANIS MORISSETTE:

JASON MRAZ:

"Only Human"-

"I'm Yours" (worth a repost!)-

I hope you all like them, but if you don't I get it too because in a way it's a matter of taste. Tell me your favorites, least favorites of whatever.

Blog Post -77

So sorry that I haven't been on the last few days, but I'm trying harder to go on.

I have officially been to school for 12 days now. It's pretty exciting because it is a brand new school that just opened this year. I've gotten quite a bit of homework but, I'm making it through just fine.

I also am getting braces on in like two weeks. I'm not very happy about it, because they look kind of silly. But oh well. I only have to wear it for over a year. Has anyone or does anyone right now wear braces?

I can't seem to stick to one topic, so sorry for jumping a bit. Anyways, I am going to the Democratic National Convention this week, so I'm really excited. I do get to miss school, but I truly am more excited to just be part of this historical event. It'll be pretty awesome.

Finally, for "American Idol" watchers, I don't know if any of you have heard this or not, but apparently there is a new judge. Her name is Kara DioGuardi, and she's a songwriter. She will be the youngest judge at 37 years old. None of the other three are being replaced, however I have a felling that if Kara has a good season, Paula may get dropped.

Anyway here's a link to where I heard it:

Nadia Turner came in eighth place on season 4 of American Idol. I thought that she was a superb singer, and should have made it further than she did. Nadia did have some troubles some weeks, like making the bottom 2 for singing Cyndi Lauper's...

Bjbler2396 must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could Bjbler2396 possibly have for not rating a single film?
