I don't know what the time difference is from Australia to America, but right now it's the morning and Halloween, for us, was last night. Two of my friends and I got together to go trick or treating. Now, the funny part is, Australia doesn't celebrate Halloween. That's what made it fun for us. I dressed up as the Mad Hatter, my friend was a werewolf and the other was an ape. I had a massive hat, weird glasses, a pack of cards and a tea mug. I didn't know we were going out so I didn't come prepared with a costume, but we managed to get that.

Out of all the people we went to, one couple gave us a tiny chocolate bar each, and another family gave us lots of lollies. The rest of the people said either, "Sorry," or slammed the door in our faces. As soon as one man opened the door in this certain house we said "trick or treat" and he just looked at us and said "...bye. " Overall it was a great night, I only wished we celebrated it properly here.

Also, I just reached level 27, much before my aimed time. There's still 8, 9, 10 days (depending on where you live) before Modern Warfare 2 comes out, which is great. Thanks for reading and have a happy halloween.

lol that must have been quite fun to get in awkward situations with random people. Too bad you didn't have more of them play along and give you candy. At least you had a good time though

It's still Halloween night here, but we're pretty much done and the kids are in bed.

It's not Halloween here in the UK anymore either. Can't wait for Modern Warfare 2. You being Australian, will get MW2 a day before me. Jealous.

Congrats on level 27. And nice choice with the Mad Hatter lol. Alice in Wonderland was actually my school's Homecoming theme .

@zapperzrock: Yeah zapperzrock has a point! At our work (I'm American), we were asking this guy from Poland whether they did Halloween and dressed up over there. He said yeah, but it's still way different then over here. In the US at least, when high-school/college girls dress up for Halloween...their choices are tramp or supertramp! It's kinda turning Halloween from a ghosts and goblins and warding off spirits kinda holiday to a Mardi-gras holiday. Either way, is good with me...a fun time always had by all!

Happy Halloween man. Yeah I actually had the same situation. I was pissed when they said they didn't celebrate it. Oh well, but freakin' Modern Warfare 2 man. 9 more days. Argh can't wait to play it hehe

I love your costume! Very creative. The houses over here in Canada that hand out Halloween candy are the ones with pumpkins in their yard. Oh well, nice to hear that you still got candy. Congrats on your level!
