are the only things that fall from the sky. Well...that's what my dad
says anyway. So Alice decided to let me know what she wanted to do for
my birthday. Skydiving. Yup, falling from the sky. I don't think I'd
have a problem with this, but I had a dream the other day where I was
skydiving and fell out of the harness, and fell. About two days after
that there's a news story of a woman who did just that. She decided to
skydive and fell out of the harness. She died. And she went to the
place that I'm going to. A little unsettling to say the least.

Then
there's the money thing. It does bug me a bit that it costs a lot of
money to go. Now, I don't want to hear all of the lovy dovey touchy
feely words saying, "Oh, but you'll have such a good time and a great
experience. Damn the cost." Such words are for people that A) don't
care about money B) like to think they don't care about money but
really do or C) have too much money to begin with. I just told Alice
that I don't want to go for this reason and she's a little upset. I
thought she'd be more releived than anything. Lifting the burden of
trying to figure a way to pay for it. Now she wants to get a second job
and not be home. I don't want her to, but she's pretty stubborn.
