I have a lot of down time these days so gaming a lot is ok right now. Shooting things is a nice stress reliever.

Yes, it's best to focus on school, but you could also limit your playing time or even play on weekends.

I think taking a break from games will allow you to learn more about yourself through doing other things, for example maybe you'll start a new hobby (reading for example as mentioned - start with something light like The Zombie Survival Guide if that sort of thing interests you) or try making new friends and doing new things together. Good call putting school first, you have your priorities right whatever you decide to do.

As for me I can't say I've ever been addicted to gaming, having other interests prevents me from playing more than a few hours a week which I think is good. Gaming should simply be a hobby rather than an obsession, you need to find the right balance between gaming and the outside world which can be pretty tough but rewarding at the same time. I hope that's helpful and doesn't sound too patronizing, best of luck and keep us posted.

Last year in my vacations, I used to play games for 15 hours especially racing games like Most wanted and Burnout. But then, as school started I started playing games for only 2 hours -__-

Don't stop gaming, just play it for a while
