Thanks to a few moderations and points loss this is the first time I have got to level 35. I come close a few times.
Theres still a few people from my previous blog I need to add to my PS3 list. I'll get round to doing it soon, I just keep forgetting.
I got a couple of new games for my PS3. I bought Pro Evo and downloaded Final Fantasy 7. I have hardly stopped playing FF7 since I downloaded it. It has to be my favourite game ever. I have started a Master League and Become a Legend on Pro Evo but so far I am doing crap.
Thats it for now.
My username is bigbadsad. If you add me let me know who you are, or leave your username in the comments and I'll add you. Ive been playing Killzone for the last hour or so. It's amazing. Ive threw my mum out of the front room and connected the PS3 to the 1080P tele
I might take a trip to Blockbusters in a bit and see if they have any cheap games or good offers.
I managed to watch some of E3 but have read up on most of the goings on. The game I was most looking forward to was Alan Wake and it did not disappoint. Cant wait for more videos and news on this. Its just a shame we have to wait until 2010 for it.
Another thing that impressed me at E3 was Sony's conference. I am really tempted to get a PS3 now. I have gone off gaming lately; only occasionally playing a PC game or a quick game of Fifa on the 360 so I am unsure if I want to spend wedge on a new console. Id have to connect it to my monitor which so far I wont be able to. So as well as buying a £300 console I need a new monitor. I suppose I could always buy the console now and play it on a small TV downstairs or take over my brothers TV in his room. He wont like that but he'll live
The games Im looking forward to the most are God of War 3 (although I missed GoD2) and Uncharted (again, I didnt play the previous one). I could always buy the first Uncharted for less than £20 and play through that first which wouldnt be a problem. Theres still games like Metal Gear 4, LBP and a few others I have always wanted to play. The icing on the cake would have to be Final Fantasy 7 available to buy through the online store. The day my 2nd disc of FF7 scratched and died on me was a sad day indeed and Ive been waiting for news of a remake or the original to become available through some other means. Infamous looks really good as well and comes bundled with a PS3 for £280. Is all this enough to justufy a £280 purchase, plus the price of a HDMI monitor (around £150 - £200)? I could use some comments from PS3 owners.
I got half of a showing of some sticks some fella was using for the PS3. To be honest they wouldnt be my thing but as someone said on the PS3 board, if they could be used in something like God of War to control the Chains of Olympus, then that would be a great idea (although very tiring).
In other news - i lent the first series of Underbelly from some fella in the pub I work in. I have watched the first 4 episodes so far and Im really enjoying it. Ive never been one for series and such. I got bored of the likes of Lost and 24 never interested me, but Im enjoying this series so far.
What from E3 has impressed everyone else?
**EDIT** After a bit of research and what not I think I have found something that has thrown a spanner in to the works. If the rumours are true do I still buy a PS3 and risk the slim version coming out a month later, or do I hang on till ltheres more news about it?
