Why, oh why is March 13th SO far away?
The small demo is not enough for me. I need moreeeeeee.
AKA Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World.
Pretty much one of the best RPG's ever made. Period.
I really can't even begin to go into detail. It's just sooo..... good. ![]()
I'm actually upset that I'm almost done with the game, so I'm trying to play a few random quests I haven't done yet.
JUST SO EVERYONE KNOWS---
You should buy this game if you own a Wii. In fact, you should buy the first one first, then buy this one. They are both basically amazing, incredible, fantastic, awesome games.
The latest consule from Nintendo, the Wii has done nothing but impress me over and over...time and time again.
I really didn't want a Wii, I was leaning more towards a 360 because there was a lot more games I was interested in. But after getting the Wii Christmas Day, I realized how much I really like it. When I first started playing the first game I played was the Wii Sports, Tennis. Being a tennis player, I was amazed at how much it was like playing a game of tennis. Without the actual movement of course. But swinging the Wii-Mote as if it were a racket is what makes the game so entertaining.
Of course I tested out the other Wii Sports avaliable to me. Boxing is extremely tiring, golf is okay, and bowling is like being at the bowling alley. Baseball isn't very amusing to me. But it has it's fun moments. After the first full day of playing with the Wii my arm hurt from swinging so violently with the Wii-Mote while playing tennis. Pathetic right?
I've also got three other games to go along with the Wii. Red Steel, Call of Duty 3, and Splinter Cell Double Agent. All three games use the Wii-Mote AND the knunchuck wii-mote. I must say for awhile I had a tough time using both steadily but I did eventually get the hang of it. Red Steel & Splinter Cell are both amazing games and just really haven't gotten into the Call of Duty 3.
Along with those three games I got for Christmas. I just got Madden '07 for the Wii. I had already owned Madden '07 for Gamecube but wanted to play it with the Wii's features. Which I must say is a pretty amazing experience. Everything about the games the Wii has to offer is something fresh and something new because of the features avaliable. I can't wait to see what new games Nintendo has to offer. I have 2 Wii-Motes and knunchuck controllers so my younger brother and I can play all of these games together. Multiplayers is quite a fun experience on the Wii.
Not only is playing the games the Wii has fun. But creating Miis is also a fun thing to do. I also really enjoy uploading photos and video clips from my digital camera with the SD card. Plus I have online where I can trade Miis with others, check my local weather forecast and news, and browse online with google! Yeah, I can get here on GameSpot with the Wii's online connection. Amazing isn't it?
I'm kind of disappointed that Wii games aren't avaliable for online play with others. I'd like to challenge others to a game of tennis or have a match in Red Steel online as if it were Halo or TimeSplitters. As far as I know there is no games online like that so I'm hoping sometime in the near future we can expect this!
Another amazing thing the Wii has to offer is being able to purchase games from the previous Nintendo systems right there on your Wii. Buying games from N64 all the way to the original Nintendo and original Mario Bros. and Donkey Kong. Plus you can use GameCube controllers and play GameCube games! The Wii can seriously do it all!!
I have no regrets in getting the Wii now. Like I said, at first I had no intentions in getting it. But now, I'm extremely happy I did. I rank Nintendo's Wii a 9/10.
