This post will be filed under "Rant." I have nothing to add beyond this link, because I am stunned to silence - and every one of my thoughts should be clear.
Under the initial article is the followup with the court results.

P.S. declaration for beer lovers: My name is Dave, and I am CANADIAN!
Furthermore, I had an argument (which will remain unlinked) with another Gamespotter (who will remain unnamed) over what makes a bigot.
Free speech is great. Super. Awesome.
Opinions are excellent. Fantastic. Snazzy(?).
But know that conversational disclaimers such as, "I'm not a racist, but," or, "...but that's only my opinion," do not exempt anyone from the dictionary-defined classifications that can and should be attributed to them.
Racially offensive comments make one a racist.
Sexually offensive comments make one a sexist.
All intolerant and prejudiced comments (racist, sexist, classist, etc.) make one a bigot. Period.
So speak freely. Just know that the American Constitution doesn't protect you from what you already are.
