I've noticed since buying the PS3, everyone is not a critic, but an expert. Employees at Gamestop, for example, refuse to "touch it with a 10ft pole"....It doesn't have "enough games" .....blu-ray is over rated ( You wanna whats funny? Not only do most of these people not own a PS3, but they've never even played it!!! This is all prejudice and bias based upon what some "expert" from a gaming mag had to say. News flash guys: using someone else's opinion as a source of information doesn't only mean you're no expert, but it shows you're not too bright!!! Anyhow, I like how all the units are selling out and the new lineup of games is forcing everyone to reconsider. Yeah, the die hard 360 fanboys will refuse to concede, but hey....ignorance is bliss they say, so enjoy your happiness. And for the record, "fanboyism" is so LAME! Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo all have great ideas and products to bring to the table. Go with what you like and enjoy yourself! Game on!

When I was considering purchasing a PS3, there were many people telling me not to get it, due to the negative stigma surrounding the console. Ever since I bought it, theres not a shred of regret. I feel that a person regrets a console purchase when they listen to others rather than themselves.

I understand how you feel. I despise fanboyism. I like all consoles even if I tend to have more games of one console doesn't mean I have to bash the other. I just don't understand why they need to make a big deal out of a console?

BluBucket: I feel the same being that I have no regrets. And mind you, I was one of those crazy enough to stand outside for days in this New York winter weather to get it!

Yeah, I used to owned an Xbox and a 360 for over 4 years paying for XboxLive before I got my PS3...... Think about it, now I owned a PS3 not Xbox360. things do changed. and I do have a reason why I chose PS3.

Whatever system produces the best products should win. I do think there is a bandwagonish thing for the 360 currently. But I do think there was one for PS2 also. I believe the PS3 will gain a lot of ground in the next year or so, however. I will withhold any prediction at this point.

Can't stand fanboys, by blindly sticking to the one console they miss out on so many games on other consoles that they'll NEVER see by ignoring other machines.

I don't have a PS3... yet, but at the minute there aren't enough reasons for me to bother getting one, couldn't care for Blu-Ray (or HD-DVD for that matter) but the high price and lack of games that I like the look of are reason enough for me to hold fire for now.

When the software library picks up and they start to produce games that aren't just "PS2 games with shiny graphics" I'll be there in an instant.

Great blog! I think these fanboys should invest their energy on being a fan of games! Just enjoy the games that these companies put out.

I'm not a die hard fan of any console. I'm a fan of gaming period. I don't understand ,or want to understand, why people, and their emotions, are so wrapped up in console wars. Every console I buy I think is awesome for what it is, but not at the exclusion of others. If I had an unlimited resource I would purchase most consoles( which I'll end up doing anyway even without an unlimited resource).

Green: I think if a lot of people had the same view on life in general, there would be a lot less drug use, murder, etc...I mean find things in life that they like and enjoy them for what they're worth
Trystkl: I think I would do the same as you where I would buy all. Unfortunately, I'll only be able to stick with the PS3 this go round cuz of priorities. I'm single with no kids and I think I should take the opportunity to save as much as I can over the next 5 years for the purpose of buying a house.
