It makes me angry to know that Bill Clinton just left our boys to practically rot over there and they were there on humanitarian reasons...he was such a coward...don't get me wrong I don't want a cowboy in the Oval Office but I don't want a pantywaist either.

To Kill a Mockingbird is one timeless piece of film. The message of the film rings true today as much as it did in the early 1960's. The book by Harper Lee is a piece of genius and I loved it. I was so impressed with the film's ability to follow the book so well, usually the films never measure up to the novel but this one did. If you have never seen this film you are missing a rare jewel, Hollywood at it's finest.

Mozart and the Whale was such a beautiful movie with terrific acting and showed such compassion regarding those with aspberger's syndrome a form of autism. The characters in the film have no social skills but want so desperately to fit in but with their own differences it makes it so difficult. It was beautifully played by Josh Hartnett and Radha Mitchell, both did a wonderful job in the roles they played. Life isn't easy and neither are relationships for the most settled and accomplished persons but for two people with this syndrome to attempt a relationship is a mountain that few if any could climb. I loved this film, it made me think, it made me laugh and it made me weep, plus it made me aware of those with Aspberger's plight.

Max Lucado...what can I say but that this is a man who loves the Lord. His writings are heart-felt and inspired, giving those with little to no hope, the "Good News" of Christ Jesus and our loving Heavenly Father. I have read several of his books...

His writings are heart-felt and inspired, giving those with little to no hope, the "Good News" of Christ Jesus and our loving Heavenly Father. I have read several of his books which reach deep into one's being and shows one's worth to God. The Applause of Heaven tells of how the heavenly host of heaven applaud and cheer for each soul that is redeemed, this made me weep, showing me how much we are esteemed and loved by our Creator. He writes to those on a level that can be understood whether you are an adult, a octogenarian or you are five years old, he has writing for each which touches deeply on the Truth. I am so glad God put him here to spread the Good News of Christ Jesus.

Eric is talented beyond measure and is a devoted family man. His Plays SubUrbia and Talk Radio are still as enduring now as they were when they first were penned by Eric. He is fully involved in every aspect of his career and is widely admired by those of us with enough imagination and intelligence to "get" his work. I have always admired those who were more not in the mainstream celebrity world because I think Britney Spears and Brad Pitt are overrated, and Eric is definitely not someone you would confuse with one of them, Thank God. His monologues are hard hitting, strong, sarcastic and sometimes offensive to those who can't see that he is just saying what alot of us are thinking. Cheers Mr. Bogosian! I think you are marvelous.

Orlando Bloom was so funny and Kirsten Dunst was adorable, Susan Sarandon delightful. The road trip home was so poignant and the scenery showed America at it's loving best. I saw this movie about a month ago. I thought it was a really good noir type movie,dark and seedy. The acting was good, the sets marvelous and the cinematography just what a seedy LA 1950's era would look like. Josh Hartnett was very capable as Bucky Bleichart. I read other reviews on other sites and people were trashing this movie, however they were expecting a grusome crime story about a murdered hollywood starlet, this movie was based on James Ellroy's book The Black Dahlia not on the Elizabeth Smart murder even though hints of the murder and how Ellroy saw it, It is a work of fiction not based on all the facts of the Smart case but some elements are there, but no you won't see someone gruesomely cut a girl in half. The movie was more about two cops who were friends in love with the same woman. I liked it alot and will definitely add it to my DVD catalog when it's available.

Bruce Weitz played a rough and ready detective named Mick Belker on NBC's 1980's drama Hill Street Blues. He was an instant hit as Det. Belker also known as "animal" , he was called this because he bit, snarled and growled at suspects and fellow officers, you just didn't mess with Mick. I found him endearing as the character because he also cared for his elderly mother even though he acted so tough he was always there for her. I met Mr. Weitz once at a telethon they have for handicapped children in my hometown and he was very gracious, taking time to write nice words on the picture and program I was given. He was genuine, didn't rush you and was great with the handicapped children.

I have seen several movies with Bill Nighy and he never disappoints me. He can play drama, comedy and horror and the classics as well. I still giggle everytime I watch Love Actually because his Billy Mack character was brilliant and had the best...

I have seen several movies with Bill Nighy and he never disappoints me. He can play drama, comedy and horror and the classics as well. I still giggle everytime I watch Love Actually because his Billy Mack character was brilliant and had the best lines of the whole movie. I thought his portrayal as Victor the head vampire in Underworld was a strong and convincing villian as well. He seems a bit quirky, yet so endearing. The HBO film, Girl in the cafe with him as a boring G8 summit worker was beautifully played and showed another side of his great talent. He is now finally getting his due in the USA by his co-starring in the Pirates of the Carribean movies, playing a squid faced Davey Jones, but the CGI and make-up cannot hide his great facial expressions and those bright blue eyes which light up the character. Cheers Billy and keep acting and I will keep watching you!

I have always liked perky little Sally Field. I liked her flying over the convent, freaking me out as Sybil, giving a not so award-winning but much joked about oscar acceptance speech, flirting with Burt Reynolds, making me cry when she made her point in Steel Magnolias, driving Abby crazier on ER and now as Nora Walker on Brothers & Sisters. This pint-sized feisty actress is a real heavy weight on film, whether it be the silver screen or the tv screen is a national treasure. How God put so much strength and talent into her small stature is a miracle in it's self. I can remember Gidget even though I was probably 5 or so, and saw her fly over the convent giving the mother superior heartburn, and laughed at her antics. I remember being a teenager and seeing her do Sybil(Sybil originally aired as a made-for-television miniseries in 1976. Sally Field starred in the title role, with Joanne Woodward playing the part of Sybil's psychiatrist, Cornelia B. Wilbur. Based on the book Sybil by Flora Rheta Schreiber, the movie dramatises the life of a shy young graduate student, Sybil Dorsett (in real life, Shirley Ardell Mason), suffering from dissociative identity disorder (multiple personality disorder). With the help of her psychiatrist, Sybil gradually recalls the harrowing childhood abuse that led to the development of sixteen personalities. Sally Field's portrayal of Sybil won an Emmy.--thanks Wikipedia) and crying and cheering as she overcame her abuse little by little, Sally deserved that Emmy. I cheered for her in Norma Rae, giggled at her acceptance speech and applauded her win. I watched all those Burt Reynolds movies..Smokey and the Bandit..etc etc and laughed and wished I was as small and cute as her.
Now as she has settled into "Mom" roles such as M'lynn in Steel Magnolias and as Abby's mom, Maggie, on ER ..I still admire her and love to watch her acting. I have grown up with her and she seems a friend even when I see her on any medium whether it's tv or film and she is one of the greats in my opinion. You're one of the best Sally..keep on keeping on and I will keep on watching.
