I think the Sonic series needs new direction. I think Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood and Sonic Unleashed well be good but I still think the series new direction.

1. I think the series should focus a lot more on gameplay. The gameplay recently has just been really bad and they need to fix it. I think the Hedgehog Engine will be awesome.
2. We need better storylines. The Sonic Adventure series had an awesome storyline. There was character development and a intriguing storyline. So far no other games in the Sonic series have came close to having such good storylines. Which is why I think the Sonic Team needs to start making better storylines. I think the storylines should be more mature. That's right I think the Sonic should be rated T for Teens because then the games could be more mature and attract a bigger audience. I think ever since Sonic Heroes the storylines have gotten to kiddy (not counting Shadow the Hedgehog) and boring.
3. We need new voice actors. A few months ago I was one of those people that loved the old voice cast and just did not like the 4kids voice cast. And I still do dislike the 4kids voice cast I mean there a few good voices. Sonic's is okay and Eggman's is good but the rest stink (especially Knuckles's they really ruined Knuckles's voice). But I've came to realize something the original voice cast wasn't that great either. I mean they were okay but not great. I think the Sonic series needs new a voice cast because the current ones really aren't that good (well Eggman's voice can stay I guess). But I don't want the old ones to come back either . I want a brand new voice cast. I the think Sonic series deserves better voices.
4. Stop introducing new characters every game. Don't get me wrong I don't hate the idea of new characters but I don't think we need new characters every game. Sonic Team should just work with the characters they have now and develop them.
5. More character development. I think the Sonic series needs a lot more character development.
