Well, I guess Nintendo and I have a love/ hate relation. I have my own nintendo closet in my attic, and on the other hand I despise the new nintendo with it's quest for casual dominance and over the top innovation. But when I saw the latest haldheld hardware, the DSi, and hearing my wife saying she actually wanted to play games like professer layton and the curious village, I (we) had to get the dsi.

I must say it is a beautiful device, very slick, with neat options. I also bought the game Henry Hatsworth, too easy for me, but I have to share my ds with my wife this time, so I have not the absolute privilege anymore to choose the games.

O well, guess I will be looking for great games like GTA or chrono trigger soon!

I'm not really into portable gaming, but I did love the Phoenix Wright series. Absolutely loved it!

I was actually thinking about getting a DSi around Christmas time this year. I looked at the selection of games and was amazed at how many great titles there are for the system.

Professor Layton and the Curious Village is a superb puzzle game, I really loved it. I read that there are already 2 other games released in Japan in these series and one is to be released in the US, let's hope they don't forget the PAL countries. I still have to finish GTA : CW on my DSi but till now it's big fun although it's quite a change if you're so used to see 3D GTA games.
