You know...Sometimes when looking around on eBay, I find it a bit frustrating to see the term "We only ship within the United States" while at the same time seeing the statement "We do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii."

When did Hawaii, in the past 46 years, lose its statehood? Not complaining about the sellers necessarily but it seems ignorant to make that statement. I understand if they can't, won't or don't want to ship outside of the continental US but don't say that Hawaii or Alaska isn't part of the 50 states that make up the USA.

Then again, It's probably just me getting antsy at the fact that I found something cool that I can't bid on...

Even though the announcement was made probably about a year ago and the game came out last year, I find it a little sad and disappointing that this years only Football game is EA's Madden 06. I'm not saying it is a bad game, I have actually been playing it a lot recently but at the same time I am sad that the EA's NFL exclusive license has excluded other companies from making their own NFL game. I have been switching back and forth between Madden 06 and NFL 2K5 the past 2 weeks.

The new features like QB vision and precision passing are great add-ons in Madden and there is nothing wrong with the graphics or sound but there is something I prefer about 2K5 that makes me miss it. The animation I think in general is better in the 2K5 series...the way the running back bounces and hurdles over defenders is animated better. The quaterbacks throwing motion seems more fluid.

I know the game play should be the most important thing but presentation is a big part too. The little Sports Center set up they have going adds to the game and while EA has the license, I think they would have done a ESPNish style presentation 2K6 style had there been an 2K6 game.

I like Madden and still play it...I just wish that the option was still available to pick up an alternative game this season. It'll be interesting to see what happens next season because as I understand it...EA has picked up the ESPN license and John Madden has moved over to NBC.  Since NBC isn't owned by Disney and thusly not part of the ESPN family, what will next years EA NFL game be?  Will it still be Madden '07 or will they chuck it to use their ESPN license...maybe they will combine the two in some fantasy football realm.  Then again, I might not have all the facts straight.

After being a registered member for over a year, I happened to come across the add to my collection thing. I wasnt' intending to really do much with it but I started trying to look and find all the games I had and add to "my collection". I haven't really added all the games yet as the computer is in another room from most of the games but the count is over 100 already! Its spooky how many games are in the collection and how much has been spent on it! Spookier still is that there are others with larger collections LOL. Not that it's a bad thing but man, how much richer would we all be if it weren't for our hobby!
