Xbox Motherboard difficulties(Mine fried). Replace it or say my farwells?

I am going to make
this short, sweet, and to the point. I own an Xbox and it has been good to me. I had a issue with it last summer where
mysteriously its motherboard fried and now it has been deemed
irreparable by a few stores that do console hardware repair. What
should I do? I don't want to trash it but I am not a
modder and have thought about salvaging any parts I can and selling
them on Ebay. Any suggestions???Should I try to replace the
motherboard???

P.S. I don't want to shell out another
$100-$150 dollars to buy a another Xbox. I don't know if I can go through
another supposed loss like this............

. lol.

Forgot
to mention that the warrenty is no longer. I think that conclusion was
already made however. Well this is a comfirmation then. lol.

Ten games I should get for Christmas(Hypathetically speaking)

If I could affored to get any ten games for Christmas this fall for any consoles out by then which should I get??? So far I have these in mind in this order:

1. Gears of War
2. Battlefield 2142
3. Half Life 2:Episode 2
4. T.C. Splinter Cell: Double Agent
5. ???????????
6. ???????????

Baller1257 must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could Baller1257 possibly have for not rating a single film?
