GAMES: GameSpot GameFAQs MOVIES: Metacritic Movietome Comic-Con

Well, I just borrowed GH: Aerosmith off a friend of mine, and the first thing I've gotta say is: "I'm glad I didn't buy it."

Don't get me wrong, the game is enjoyable and fun and all that (it is Guitar Hero after all). However the setlist is shorter at 31 songs with roughly a dozen bonus tracks. Also, There's no downloadable content feature, so no additional songs to be had down the road.

Also, this game is pretty loose with the achievements. In about 3 and a half hours of play, I'd accumulated over 550 points in achievements! I'm not really complaining about that, but it is rather telling when I've had GH3 for 3 months and only 210 pts or so.

All in all, a great rental, but I wouldn't pay more than $20 to buy it... and that $20 would be mostly for Cheap trick's "Dream Police" and The Cult's "She Sells Sanctuary", the 2 best songs on the disc.

I only have GH II, but after playing it for months, I've only been able to ge to about 500 points. Guess Aerosmith is good for those achievement hunters...

Oh, and I heard there was a rap song on GH: Aerosmith. Whats up with all that?

There IS a rap song, but it's King Of Rock by RUN D.M.C, so it's all good. That song's actually quite fun to play!
