Before some of you start flipping ou, I'm sorry it's taking so long to post this, but here it goes. As many of you honestly know 2007 was most deffinetly the best year in gaming ever, at least for me that is. It had some all start hits and many of the games that came out made their way into my Top 10 (COD4, Bioshock, and Orange Box). Well the year has come and gone, by almost a month and a half, and there is already promise that this upcoming year will be a big hit as well. Games like Soul Caliber IV and Metal Gear Solid 4: The Guns of the Patriots are coming out this year, but those aren't something that is exciting me. I have my own "Ten Games I Must Own This Year List", there were a couple that I wanted before today, but I already bought/played them and no longer have need for them on my list (No More Heros = *thumbs up*, Turning Point: Fall of Liberty = *thumbs down and *). So I thought something was in order to do I have researched on multiple websites of the games I know that are coming out this year, unless delayed. This will be hopefully a four part thing, three a week, with the last week consisting of the number one game on my list and also a short list of other games I'm looking forward to. So here it goes...

BADSUSHI'S TOP TEN OF '08

10)

mario kart wii

There's not too much info on this game, but the SNE, GBA, and N64 versions of this game I have are amazing. I can only imagine what online with Wii controls could be like. The only thing I hope it doesn't represent is the crappy Cube version, it was just utter garbage. This is a must-look at in my opinion and one of the few Wii games I'm looking forward too.

9)

crisis core

Yeah, I know I know... Final Fantasy right? Well, yeah! Why not? This game sheds a little more light on the story before Final Fantasy VII. This PSP version should do well to hold true to the Final Fantasy VII franchise, while adding more storyline and even allowing the player to play as the little known Zack. The game is played out with random battles, also adding real-time strategy, both two things that I normally do not mind. The game seems to stay close to the story by adding all the place and people you will meet in Final Fantasy VII and even brings back the dreaded Materia, which in all honest was a fun new way to use magic. I know just a little bit more of this game, but nothing to much to shout at... except Sephiroth is in this bad boy...

lost odyssey

Alright let me start off saying that this game looks huge, remember Final Fantasy VII. Well this game is four CD's long just like it... It's producer and composer are also both from the Square Enix team that makes Final Fantasy. So right there this tells you that this is probably THE RPG to own this year. It follows the story of a young immortal, yes you heard me an immortal, who like all heros at one time or another lose all of their memories. The story has 1000 years in the making having the storyline possibliy endless, and could quite possibly have the most potential. The game uses a different strategy of fighting useing something that sounds more like squad tactic, which could be a good thing, off the top of my head I can't remeber how it really works, but I will be sure to update these as soon as more info is released, SEE YOU NEXT WEEK!

awsome...I also didn't like the cube version of mario kart that much, but the wii one looks cool..and by the way, if you haven't played it, the DS version is awsome as well. and crisis core is one that i am definitly going to get. Final Fantasy 7 was amazing, and I'm hoping this is too! good start to the list.
