What's goin on everyone? This is going to be my second installment of my favorite boss fights. Rather than rambling on about stuff you may or may not read, I'm just going to jump right into it.

For those of you who don't know, this is Nelo Angelo from Devil May Cry. You face him 3 times in the first game, and each I found very fun. Since he is about the same size as Dante (aside from his enormous sword), it was a nice break from the huge bosses that are known in the DMC series. The battle requires a lot of agility and quick timing on when to attack. Nelo Angelo is also Dante's brother for those of you who aren't familiar with the series (Don't worry, that's not a spoiler). If you come across Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition, you are able to play as Vergil, who can transform into Nelo Angelo. Both are very fun characters to play as.

Ares for God of War. This shouldn't come to a surprise to you, since I'm a huge God of War fan. Anyway, the fight between Ares and Kratos was truly epic. I think What I really like about this fight was the variety in it. You start off in a standard face off against Ares. After that, you're forced to protect your wife and daughter from a seemingly non-stop fleet at other Kratos'. You come back from the little mind game and fight Ares with a new sword, since the Blades of Chaos are taken from you.
The final blow to Ares was one of the most enjoyable things I've seen in a game before. You watch Ares slowly die and Kratos begins the claim the throne as the new God of War.

Hitler from Wolfenstein 3D. This was the first FPS game ever created. I used to play this game as a kid and was glad to see it was available in the PS Store for $5. The picture above is actually his 2nd form. Earlier in the level, Hitler appears as a vampire-type thing that spits fireballs at you. Once you reach him as a boss, he is in some sort of power suit. Along with the power suit, he has FOUR machine guns. He can kill you in an instant if you're not careful. What I loved about this fight was that you rarely get to actually kill someone who actually existed. Games nowadays always have made up characters, which are still fun to kill, but don't beat the real thing. Getting to kill someone as infamous as Hitler is a real treat. Whether you're jewish or not, killing Hitler will be satisfying.
NOTE: Whoever took that above image, definitely died. Don't bring a knife to a dual machine gun fight. Lesson learned.

Well, this concludes this blog. Leave some comments below and let me know what you all thought.

HELLS YES, HITLER Man, developers would never be able to get away with awesome crap like that now.
And last but not least hitler While I did play this way back when, I remember fighting hitler I didnt know much about the dude besides the rad mustache he had.. oh god. It was quite the fight/boss. Look forward to more of these.. I would love to see a spyro or crash boss up in there if you played either... Those games had some great bosses.. Good old days.
Ares, to me, is the best boss battle ever. I have seriously played him over 50 times. I used to boot up God Of War, go to my save before him, and play against him a lot. I love every single thing about that boss battle. It's perfect.
Every time I see Hitler in Wolfenstein, I laugh. I just think it's hilarious to actually see him there. I kind of just want to play to see that part.
@BioshockRaptor- I loved fighting Nelo. I always seem to like boss battles where the boss is the same size as the person I'm playing as. I agree Ares does look like a crab, or those things on his back are like the Dragoons from Legend of Dragoon. That's what I though he was when I first saw him bust out the tentacles.
@Chaos_Bladez- DMC2 should be kicked out of the franchise. One of the worst games I've played ,especially if you add in the disappointing factor. It was made by different people that made the other games. I think it's safe to say that they suck. It doesn't even contribute anything to the story. In DMC4 Lady and Trish were both back, but the chick (forgot her name) wasn't even there. I think it may be because DMC2 occurred after DMC4, but it doesnn't make sense because Dante isn't old in 2 the way he is in 4. Idk. I think you should definitely try out Wolfenstein though. For $5 it a really good buy. I put enough time into that game to get way more than $5 worth of playing from it.
@navigata- DMC is a lot similar to Ninja Gaiden. They both have elements that differentiate from one another, but that are kind of the same. they both share the hard difficulty setting though. Unfortunately, I haven't play Crash or Spyro before, I did play Crash: Wrath of Cortex some but not enough to remember any of the bosses. I know, I suck
@M0wen10- Ahh you have to check out the DMC series. It's one of the best action/adventure games out there. I actually was going to use Wesker in my next blog, but now I can't since I don't want to be too predictable lol.
Different devs always eff things up.
I don't know about playing Wolfenstein. That game to me screams "BAD OLD GAME DESIGN!" as in bad checkpoints and endless wandering. That could be totally false but I just think that when I see it.
