I just checked my email and read the best news of the day: Fallout 3 is coming along well. Check out the picture below.

The best video game series of all time deserves a top of the line sequel. They better not screw this up. I worship Fallout 1 and 2. This game better live up to the Fallout name otherwise Im going to be extremely pissed off.

Its time to don my leather jacket, vault 13 t-shirt and shotgun once again.

Great game, the fighting is more tactical then it is based on button mashing and thats just how I like it. I love the whole apsect of using swords and weaponry as well, its why im a fan of the Soul calibur series. One thing is missing though, wheres all the blood? These guys and girls and creatures are getting impaled and slashed, and they dont even drop so much as a drop. I guess they did that to keep the ESRB content rating down, but damn.

Id like to see a game similar to this made, but more realistic. Wouldn't it be great to see a game where supernatural beings battle it out with swords in a realistic fashion, and then at the end of each battle the winner kills the loser? They could have a fatality system, or finisher button that you press once you win and you chop your opponents head off. Now that would be awesome. They could name this game HIGHLANDER: There can be only one, based off of the movies and series, and thats what you do, you fight to the death.

Yeah Im getting excited just thinking about that.

I wish I was in some type of position to decide what games are made and what games arent. HIGHLANDER the game would be perfect.

Anyway, back to soul calibur 3, great game for what we have today and worthy of your buying. But let this be a stepping stone to start making even better games. I see potential with this one, potential that could open up a whole new era of fighting games.
