So you think if you set your blog to friends only, then only your friends can read it? Think again. A friend of mine received a TOS violation for flaming on my private blog. None of my friends would ever report each other, so we have assumed it was someone with the ability to see a private blog. And that person was simply trolling around people's private blogs, looking for something to report. I think it says a lot about the powers that be around here, and the changes that have been made to this site. It used to be fun - it used to be friendly - and there used to be trust. So, I've deleted all my blogs to protect my friends as well as myself. There is no "private" any more.

Thank you for deleting all your blogs. It could have been any one of us who had been targeted. The person who took the time to read through three months of messages must have been on a mission to find anything against our friend as the moderation was issued last week. That no-response response you received did not address the main thrust of your query: Newer members should be made aware that private blogs are not private at all, and are subject to at-will inspection at any time with or without a report of a TOS violation.

I would like to see the rules for moderators who "police" friends-only blogs and comments. This sounds like quite the time consuming affair, going back through months and months of blog comments looking for a problem post.
