There is something about Patrick Stewart that makes me compelled to watch him, no matter what the show or film is. He will always be Jean Luc Picard though, no matter what he goes on to star in, I'll always love him best in that red suit on the Enterprise. "Make it so".
I love his performace as Scrooge! Never used to like that sort of film, but he was so brilliant in it!
Being a Yorkshore lass I love how proud he is of his routes. So many English actors go and make it big in the states and deny their routes.

When I started watching CRiminal Minds I instantly fell in love with the character of Hotch portrayed brilliantly by Thomas Gibson. I didn't even realise at first that he was Nieland out of Chicag Hope. Which is proberly a good thing I wasn't so keen on his character in Chicago Hope, but then that's something Thomas agrees on!
He gives such constantly brilliant performances in Criminal minds, he has given Hotch hidden depths that I want explored by the writers. The emotions when they come out from HOtch are so perfectly understated.
I did try to watch Dharma and Greg to see more of his talented work, but it really isn't my thing, I usualy watch it with the mute on!
Some of his film work has been different to say the least. I think it's great that he has tried so many different types of roles and that he isn't scared to do something a little different.

I loved his portrayal of Geiger, the raw emotions that he brought to the troubled character were inspiring. Watching him break down so often and so emotively made for great viewing. And you know what, pants really do make that funny noise! We also got the opportunity to hear Mandy sing, and what a treat that is.
I will always most identify Mandy with the role of Jason Gideon. It was being a fan of Mandys' that helped me find this fantastic show. Oncew again we get to see Patinkin showcase an impressive ability to show the full range of emotions.
I hope one day to get the chance to go to one of his concerts, to see this talented man at work must be a thing to behold.

I first fell in love with George Clooney when he was in ER. I had the ultimate teenage crush on Doug Ross, the sight of him in those blue scrubs made me melt! I think I can blame Doug Ross for the start of my TV obsession, I used to sitw glued to the screen every week waiting for my fix of Doug! Obviously, as so many other fans, I was devastated when he left ER, but ultimately it was the best thing George Clooney could do for his career.
If you ignore Batman, his films have gone from strength to strength. I also love how he is brave enough to take on parts in the less commercialized films. Out of Sight and Solaris are my favourites but I do love his part in O Brother, Where Art Thou?.
I hope he doesn't spend too much time directing in the future, I'd miss him on the big screen!
