I bought my self a Wii and every time I play it i have fun, especially if you have people there to play w/ u. The only problem is there are not to many interesting games out there, most of them are for kids, but the ones out there that are good are really worth it.

all i have to say is if you really want to interact with the games unlike with the other systems where you sit around and just hold the controller in one spot then you should get it.

I had a Wii, but sold it. If you don't have people around to play it with, is not very fun. Also, the only good single player games are Mario Galaxy and the new Zelda (though it gets old fast). I think the main problem with the Wii is that most third parties are just trying to get some quick cash without doing to much, know what I mean? So far, the only games worth playing on the Wii are made by Nintendo. And Trauma Center. Trauma Center is fun.

Ow my goddess i hope You didn't purchase Avatar: The Last Airbender, as i see You have reviewed it... Recommended games would be
Super Mario Galaxy, Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3, Resident Evil 4/Umbrella Chronicles, Battalion Wars 2, Zack and Wiki, Trauma Center and just maybe Strikers, Excite Truck or Elebits (though i don't know Elebits and Excite Truck that well personally).
But please rent before buying, or watch a gameplay video. The games on the Wii are a very personal hit or miss. Probably i underestimate Your knowledge but i'm just worried You may be making some impulse buys because of the Avatar review.
They really messed that one up. The Avatar universe could have made for a tremendous game on the Wii, maybe we will see one later on.

I've had the Wii for about a year now and it's decently fun. I'm a 35 yr old with 2 kids and for me the only game I play a lot is Madden08 (which is much more fun on the Wii than on Xbox or PS) but the other games aren't fun unless you have others to play with. My kids are young and it's nice to have it around because it's easy for them to play some of the games because of the way you move the controller. For a "hard-core" gamer that plays a lot of single player games, I would think it's not as good a console as the other 2 systems. Also, graphics are not great - especially if you have a large tv. The Xbox 360 is way better looking and more fun for some of the single player games.

Dont buy that stupid Wii, it's just playing lame. I was actually i still am a big playstation fan buy PS3 is just too expensive for me so the best choice would be buying the 360. I am planning on buying that.
The reason i am just planning is that i already have a killer pc sitting at my home, all it needs is a VGA card. here the problem is that i can buy a expensive VGA card or a 360.
360 is not much expensive than the VGA card itself. Lastly i would say that Wii is for kids and old people. Cool people dont move the body in the tv lounge or where ever u place your console. Christmas is just 2 days away, try to but 360 then or till than or after then..

Dont worry I haven't purchased it, god save me for doing that!

Why dont you just stay with PC?
