Welcome to the Azula Crushers Club, the home of the people who have recoognized Azula for what she is: one of the greatest, perhaps even the greatest fictional character ever to terrorize the good guys and live to tell the tale. Unlike it's predecessor, this club is going to be a very private affair - membership is by invitation only. Fortunatly, invitation will be not be hard to obtain - anyone seen to actively praise, defend, or in any way place in a positive light, glorify, or admit intense feelings for Azula will recieve an invitation. People who have not recieved an invitation but wish to join can pm me or one of the members of the Royal Family, or The Great Fire Sage, and will be instructed on the requirements, or, if they are deemed worthy, invited. Every member of the old club on the Avatar Forum retains membership.
I will be posting a link to this blog in my sig, and other members are encouraged (but not required) to do the same.
Having this club on my blog may prove to be temporary: I am still working on getting another one started on the forum. Until that happens however, we will be open and running here.
Because all we can use here is the comments, what we can do is much more limited than if it had been on a thread in the forum, which is why I still advocate working to re-open one there. As I said, it is my hope that this will only be temporary.
Until then, you know the drill: if it depicts Azula in a positive light, or offers genuine and insightful analysis of her character, it is welcome here. With luck, it will not be here much longer, but back on the forum, where it belongs.

I think she would as well, but she realizes her father is stronger than her and would most likely wait a few years. Unless of course she were to gain enough political power and kill Ozai with her Dai Li agents, but that's just me....

I think she could, but that doesn't mean she would. To actually plot to kill her father would require an extremely powerful drive that would override her undying loyalty to him (which is now pretty much unarguable). Like I said, she's certainly capable of a coup. But to actually go against her father for a position that she never even mentioned in the entire series... That doesn't seem like her. To restate it, starting a coup to take power is totally in her character. It's easy to think that plotting against her father (and subsequently killing him) is in character because it has become hard to think otherwise.*

Eh...it's the best I could do....considering I haven't researched much about her yet.
That's true. I was surprised that SHE was surprised. But I think she was loyal to her father only because she borderline respected him and looked up to him. I mean, he was willing to kill his own son. She must think that's awesome. Also, he always favored Azula. I guess, now that I think about it, I don't think Azula would kill Ozai. I do think she'd consider it briefly, though.

Indeed, and you have to take into account that fire cannot build things for itself, like water and earth. The Fire Nation shows creativity beyond any other nation.
Scientific ingenuity and raw destructive power.
At some point, you must use the phrase "it's because I'm a people person". That line is so awsome, it has the potential to become a catch-phrase for Azula, the equivelant of Darth Vader's "I find your like of faith disturbing".
If you like vapid circus-freaks...then Ty Lee is definitely cute. If you like pure win...then Azula is the way to go.

And Ty Lee may be cuter, but Azula is hotter to the max, a way, way, way, way, way deeper character, several quadrillion times more awsome in just about every way a person can be awsome, etc, etc, etc, and so forth.
