It's incredibly scary. I used to live in SoCal all my life, so watching the news and seeing all the damage being done by the flames is heartbreaking. My friends less thanten minutes away from the fire, and one of them is keeping me on the scoop. Apparently, every couple minutes kids are called out of class to evacuate to their homes and try to salvage what little things they can before their houses get burned to the ground. Even the school is being used as an evacuation center. It's nuts.
Today, my friend texted me and said that the Governater actually came to her school! Apparently, he was holding a press conference there, and that there were of press. The actual students weren't allowed to see him, which must've stinked. I asked my friend for his autograph, lawl.
In other news: Ugh, three weeks ago, my computer got a bad virus. It was mostly my fault, for downloading Photoshop CS3, but I'm too poor to actually buy it!
This has taught me a valuable lesson; be more careful when you're running around on the intarwebz! And don't just download things you aren't sure of!
In Avatar news; Apparently, all you people in the UK get to see all ten episodes of Avatar this week! I've already read spoilers about "The Avatar and the Firelord!" You guys are SO lucky.
Someone upload the episodes, straight away! I need me some early episodes! ![]()
Ugh. Today, I wanted to stay home from school, like any other bored, tired teenager. But of course, my mom said no, so yeah.
ANYWAY.
'The Headband' was EPIC. Best episode yet, in my opinion. I constantly had to pause and just laugh for minutes at a time, it was that funny.Of course, the Kataang was amazing. That dance scene was incredibly hot, and filled with oodles of sexual tension. Just how I want it.
I'd write more about how awesome this episode is, but I'm not really in a typing mood. I guess you just have to wait and see it for yourself.
Now, this section is for the user who is posting conspiracy blogs against Nickelodeon.
WTH THE MATTER WITH YOU.
That is all. I'm glad it's Friday.
SORRY! I've been a lazy ass.
I'm going to try and go on the AangGang more often too. If I don't, feel free to punch me in the face.
Thanks, much love,
Laura.
