Nearly two years I was gone but now Iīm back on TV.com. A lot of things have changed.
In a few months I have exams so there is not much time for TV.com until theyīre done. I hope to do them well.
I didnīt expect to find some of the guides I edited still under my charge but surprisingly I got one back.

Life is not nice to me at the moment. Iīm sick for about two years now, lost my good paid job because of that and 2,5 year mobbing .... now have to do "silly" work in the same company with low money
.
My boss treats me very bad at the moment and I had to go to the lawyer to get my money last month.
But Iīm happy to know it will only last 8 more lonley months, then I will start a new life by learning a new job.
Thanks God

Some people may have noticed it: Iīm not American but from Germany.
Here itīs usual to synchronize English and American movies, series and documentations. Itīs a huge business here which gives thousands people a lot to do. Most of us never will hear "their" stars in original. All show stars and even the smallest role get a German voice that mustnīt be always similar to the original. Weīre used to listen to "familiar" voices as the most popular dubbers can be heard very often. Who would think that Homer Simpson is synchronized by a 75 year old man? Or that Erik Estrada has two? And both are not similar to his voice? Who guess that Lauren Graham, Jessalyn Gilsig and Emily Proctor have the same voice? Also there are stars who have during a series more than 7 or 8 different voices (so happened in CHiPs).
Maybe the people who have the pleasure to watch the original version donīt understand and ask themselves, how that can be and why we donīt have undertitles as in Belgium or the Netherlands. Thatīs a thing of the costs and is decided by the "Big TV Bosses"
We Germans love our synchronized version as itīs mostly very professional. Here are not only the show stars the ones who will be adored. The dubbers also have their fans and fandom.
Yeah, I love our version but if I have the possibility, I also try to get the original version.
Nothing is better as the original but itīs better to have a synchronized version than nothing.

Avantie must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could Avantie possibly have for not rating a single film?
