Bought a 360 today.

I've been pondering for weeks should I buy one or just buy the Wii on the 19th. So I thought to myself today should I buy one and if I do, I might regret it. But once I saw the review for Gears of War, my second guessing days were over. Jumped in my car and headed for Walmart. I was utterly shocked to find out they didn't have Gears of War. I was irate and I was just about to lose it. So I bought the system (came with GRAW & Arcade unplugged) and picked up Perfect Dark Zero. Plus I was extremely excited that PDZ was only $30 CDN. Plan on buying GoW and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion sometime down the road. Also I finally found the FFXII strategy guide, so I bought that as well. In the end I think I made the right decision and on top of that a hot Walmart chick carried my 360 to the door.

It looks like a very riveting and entertaining system, but is it intricate or intuitive ? Will I regret my decision ?

Can't wait for Halo 3.

No you will not, athough since it looks like your more of a RPG person and the sony gets most RPGS to there system so... but i still feel you made the right choice and I bought Oblivion as my first game. Congrats on owning the best system of all three in my opinion. In short the 360 is better then the PS3 because of its price and its games, and the 360 is better then the WII because of its Graphics and games. So i think you defintly made the right decision. Plus the 360 controller is totally kick @, and my 360 is my best friend jk, anyway great choice, i might be getting a WII in another couple years if its worth it and it can play old games like Golden Eye and Super Mario World. But i am defintly not getting a PS3 what a load of crap, $600 for same or slightly better graphics then the 360.

PDZ is a peice of crap. Well I think it would have been smarter for you to wait and get a Wii, but the 360 does offer a great selection of games if the lack of Japanese support doesn't bother you.

Grats on the the 360. I've been thinking about getting one as of late, especially with the scores Gears has been getting. Not to mention it looks like an awesome game. However, I don't have the money to get one right now! Besides, my money is all being saved for a Wii which I have on pre-order. Hopefully sometime in the future I can get a 360.

Awesome chose. yeah definitely get GoW and Oblivion. Dead Rising might look good but its freaking annoying to play the control scheme sucks balls. Saint's row is fun and the Mrvl Ultimate Alliance its pretty sweet. Feel free to add me to you xbox friends list: MavMedic81

Congrats m8. I bought one the other day as well. got GOW with it as well and I've completed it twice already. Great game, awesome graphics, BUT, way way too short. Plus the fact that I can't get onto XBox live does my head in so I can't play online. Wen I get on I'll look for ur gamer tag

just to tell u this they have the games that the make but some from bu rate but the games they make is not that good as to say the games ::for the 360 thye dont have as menny good games but have fun with your xbox 360 @ your games
