Yawn! Well it was only a 4 day vacation but really it seems like 8 solid days of running around. Not that I'm complaining you understand! I had a blast, ate waaaay too much and spent too much money. All the things you're supposed to do on vacation. ![]()
I figure I need to do the vacation thing more often. It was nice to get away and spend my time not thinking about work. I visited every computer / electronics store I could find and compared prices on all kinds of stuff I didn't buy. There was this Monitor that looked really good, but I restrained myself and left it in the store. After all I just bought a new monitor last fall and I really do not need a new one now. (The DVD drive is even newer thatn that!) It's kinda sad whene you look at your computer and know that you won't need to upgrade for quite a while because you can already run all the games / software you want. Of course, my pocket book is rather happy, but after this vacation it's not talking to me any more. Still I have lots of new clothes and the prima guide for Oblivion. Maybe now I'll figure out where I'm supposed to go next instead of just wandering around picking flowers!
I've been told that working all day and then going home to either watch TV or play on the computer or both is not normal. Then again I've never been considered normal so I guess it to be expected that I don't know what "real life" is. What do people do with their time if their not playing video games or watching TV? I'd be soooooooo bored I'd die of boredom. In which case I don't want to be normal! Not that there's any danger of that happening.
I'm sticking with my addiction to Guild Wars, Oblivion and computer games in general. I'm not ready to die yet.
Wow, slackers are me! or I! Whatever! Life has been plodding on since my last update. I guess I'm just not much of a blogger.
What's new?
Well not a whole lot. I didn't buy Dungeon Siege 2 even though I liked the demo. I did buy Oblivion and the prerequisite computer upgrades (DVD player, RAM, Video card). I'm still playing Guild Wars and have bought the second campaign Factions. I'm completely addicted to the game. But it doesn't rule my life....and if you believe that I have some lovely swampland in Florida you may be interested in.
Oblivion does see some play and I am enjoying exploring the countryside although one of these days I'll have to do the main storyline. Maybe.
What do people that don't play games do with their spare time? Work? Sleep? I wonder sometimes.
