I have marked December the 8th on my calender, and will be booking it off work tomorow, and shortly after pre-ordering the Wii. As you can see from my previous posts, i am very much looking forward to this. It looks like the best games console of all time!!! Whooo!!!

Another post just to say I have been waiting since 12pm for the launch information but still nothing. It would be so much easier if they just came out and said it, but no, they have to come out with the same stuff they said in the past two conferences. Just have to wait for them to finish showing Wii Tennis again.....

Very happy to see that the Wii launch details for Europe will be announced today at 12pm. I am just hoping we will get it before Japan, however unlikely that is. The Wii is looking to have the best launch of a console ever from my standpoint. The console doesnt have the problems that plagued the 360 and upcoming PS3 launch as the technology isnt as advanced. Instead, as most of you now know, they have focused on the games, that fancy controller, and what they can do interest non-gamers. People i know who would never have considered buying a Nintendo console are actually considering it, so it seems to be working. I think that titles such as Red Steel are doing this. Here is hoping it is priced right for the UK, and we dont have to wait too long.
