So I've given a few days to sink in, and really, Wii is just as much of a terrible name as I thought it was when I originally heard that's what Nintendo was going to call it. When Xbox360 was originally announced as the official name, I thought that was terrible too but Wii is so much worse. I don't really want to ask for one, I don't want to tell people I have one. For example:

"Yup, I'm heading over to Jon's to play with his Wii."

"I'm going to lock myself in my room and play with my Wii until I can't move my hand anymore"

Ugh. Its just SO bad. I don't know why you would drop a name that speaks directly to what you're trying to accomplish with the new console and is well known enough that changing the name now is stupid.
