... I didn't actually. I just wanted to say it because JD always does and I couldn't think of anything else with which to title my blog. My last ever year of school starts in one week so I'm going to savour this last week by learning as little as possible.
In other news, I'm finally at level 7! Yay! It was so unbelievably frustrating when I logged on and saw I was at 99%. Oh, the humanity! It will probably take me all year to get through level 7.
The last blog was my first ever for 2008 and I didn't even realise. Granted pretty much the only thing going through my head right now is 'ball ball ball ball torchwood ball ball ball big brother ball ball ball llab ball ball ball'.
It's not quite the same being a guy in this situation. All they have to do is rent a tux a few days in advance and make sure they turn up at the right address on the night. Ah, the triviality of being female. Still, I wouldn't swap it. Stressful as the prior four weeks may be, the actual night is a hell of a lot of fun.
Speaking of the new year though (if you can remember that far back - if you haven't noticed already I do tend to babble when on the topic of balls) I did actually make a new years resolution. I was going to try and do one new thing each day. I admit this was kind of stolen off Ross Gellar but you can rest assured I won't be continuing down his path and buying leather pants anytime soon. Anyway, guess how long it lasted? Two days. I really am one for commitment, eh?
I saw 27 Dresses last weekend. Loved it! I do enjoy a good girly rom com. Katherine Heigl was excellent but the clear stand-out was James Marsden, even if just for his wonderfully shaggy hair and equally wonderful grin. I'm surprised he hasn't been spotted wandering around Julsus' hottie zoo... (hint hint).
I went for a run today, can you believe it? It was the first bit of exercise I've done all summer. As it turns out, that lack of exercise along with the slight less lack of chocolate has made me very very unfit. I barely ran 1 km and felt ready to collapse. Nevertheless, determination has struck and won't be leaving anytime soon. I hereby vow to go for a run every day this week. More news on that later, if my calf muscles haven't exploded.
xx Lisa
