Apparently that's the noise Pacman makes. Who knew?
In other news, my first semester exams are OVER. Hurrah! This has been the best weekend ever. Sleeping in as long as I feel like without feeling guilty after that I haven't spent the time studying, and spending the rest of the day with friends. That's how all weekends should be.
So I bet you're all wondering what the people of Perth do on a typical Saturday when it's pouring with rain and they've nothing better to do. Well, they freeze, of course. Check it out here.
That's all from me for now. I'm off to see what all you lot have been up to while I was being held captive by my school textbooks.
Oh, and this is my favourite song at the moment.

Gah! I'm halfway through my first semester exams and it is NOT fun. I just thought I'd write a quick note because a) I thought I should let you all know I am still alive and b) I'm desperate for a distraction from studying.
I've not really been reading many blogs lately but as soon as this week is over I plan to catch up on what everyone's been typing as well as post some stuff of my own. Only four more days! Fingers crossed I make it.
I'm heading back to the books now. Any comments preferably biology-related so I feel a little less guilty for being on the internet when I should be studying.

I've been feeling a tad guilty these past couple of weeks for putting my body through so much Easter chocolate (though I'm assured my taste buds are happier than ever), so I decided to turn the whole exercise thing up a notch or two.
And... I've come to the conclusion that I've devised the greatest fitness regime known to humankind (or at least one of the better ones): starjumps. Yes, alright, I'll admit that I didn't actually invent the starjump itself, but I am the one (as far as I know) who came up with the idea to turn them into a fantastic new regime.
It's ever so simple: 100 starjumps every day. And before you know it - you're fitter than ever! Yay!

Some random songs I'm currently in love with...
Nowhere without you by Bob Evans
Missed the boat by Modest Mouse
Daniel by Lior. Or pretty much anything by Lior really.

Has anyone read the The English Patient by Michael Ondaatje? I'm currently studying it for lit. I really really do not recommend it. And I particularly don't recommend trying to deconstruct its subversion of traditional narrative techniques. Like I just had to for an essay that's due tomorrow. *Shudder*. Glad that's over.

"Reading comforts the disturbed and disturbs the comfortable." No idea who said it but it's one of my lit teacher's favourite quotes and I thought it sounded pretty cool.
