Back in the cold fourth quarter of 2007 I was going to call it quits from gaming; as my only console at the time was a Nintendo Gamecube and I refused to jump on the next-gen race because of the rise in game prices. I decided that the 360 and PS3 were not for me, that neither of them were too appealing because the Xbox and PS2 didn't do anything for me either. It wasn't until I went online and took witness to the second big console war.
I didn't believe my eyes of all the fanboys together in unison taking sides, throwing racist comments at each other, and sometimes getting along. I wanted to join, I wanted to feel what I felt when Super NES and Sega Genesis were the top rivals in the gaming circuit. I had to make a choice, which was simple now... Nintendo lost it's flare with me after the Gamecube(great console, great games, controller was the big letdown), so I didn't have to put the Wii into the equation. It was between the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3... and I went with the 360.
The exclusives, controller, and sexiness of the 360 are what pulled me to the green side and now I can say I'm one happy gamer. So....
Thank you Xbox 360 for Halo 3, without which I'd have play Timeshift or Resistance or Quantum of Solace.
Thank you Xbox 360 for GTA IV: Lost and Damned, without which I would have to go to my computer to see digital d^ck.
Thank you Xbox 360 for avatars, without which I had no idea that something so useless could stir up so much anger in people.
Thank you Xbox 360 last and not least for RROD, without which I would be able to play RESIDENT EVIL 5 THIS FRIDAY AT HOME INSTEAD OF BRINGING IT TO DIMITRI'S HOUSE TO PLAY IT ON HIS 360 THAT WORKS!!!!
