Been 2 weeks I believe sine my major update. Time for some reviews!
I bought my first Xbox Originals game after always saying I never would! Fusion Frenzy. Loved that game on Xbox, although the new one sucks for many reasons. I am not to happy about it, it seems there are some problems with "originals" games. I should have just but the actual game itself instead of this version.
And yes this rime my posts will be formated again. I forgot last time!
Currently Out:
- -GRID
Next Rentals:
- -Fable 2 (yep just renting it now!)
- -Lord of the Rings: Conquest
DEMOS/RENTED GAMES:
Lord of the Rings: Conquest (360 Demo): Well I wasn't sure about this game until I heard its by the guys that made "Star Wars Battefront". I loved that game. This game is EXACTLY like that...but with LOTR stuff in it! The demo is excellent althogh I know I will more likley play offline skirmish stuff. Thats what I did in Battleffront. It can be compared also to Battlefield 2 or any type of game like that.
Skate 2 (360 Demo): I liked the idea of Skate but never totally got into Skateboarding. More of a snowboarding guy. Anyways. The game practically looks like the first one. Has some updates obviously. Fun, I am sure if you like Skate then you will likse this one. Demo gives a good test run.
Scene It! Box Office Smash (360): I finally rented this game and am sort of disappointed after playing it awhile. When you notice the little flaws it gets annoying. And the lack of "Box Office Smashes" makes you wonder why its called that! The onyl current game on there that was recent was Dark Knight. Only good for a rental. Online wasn't that much fun.

Call of Duty: World at War (360): This is a complicated game to review in short so just check out my review instead: http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/action/callofduty5/player_review.html?id=638730
OTHER STUFF:
Interpol (360 Arcade): Uh. So if you ever seen those cheap or free games on the net where you hunt for clues on pictures and stuff. This is that...but for alot of money. Save you money and by something useful. Thers a little more to this but its not worth it. I wonder what happened to 360 arcade!
360 Game reviews. Oldest games I rented/own first, newer games I rented/own towards bottom.
Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway (360): The SP is a wild ride and bloody too. No doubt its fun and pulls you in despite being confused by a story that requires you to know about the first game. But this game is really meant for a rental not to buy. Theres not much to do after beating it.

Dead Space (360): A brilliant game. Haven't played a horror game this good in a long time. Barley any issues. No real replay value though but trust me you DO want to rent it. Even if your not a big fan of the genre its still fun.
(Full Review): http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/action/deadspace/player_review.html?id=635467
Farcry 2 (360): Best game in the series but it has some issues. Good replay value, decent online, map maker for online! FGood rental...buy if your into freeroamers!
(Full Review): http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/action/farcry2/player_review.html?id=635470
Quantum of Solice (360): A game with amazing MP but lack of any real SP. Good for a rental and thats about it... maybe buying for MP if its cheap.
(Full Review): http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/action/jamesbondprojectworkingtitle/player_review.html?id=635476
MK vs DC Universe (360): Nice graphics, good story. Nothing to do after the intial "fun" goes away. Short and boring. Avoid unless you just HAVE to play it. Then only rent it if need be.
(Full Review): http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/action/mortalkombat/player_review.html?id=635480
Mirrors Edge (360): Amazing game that is very unique and a blast to play a few times. But there is NOTHING to do after you get bored. Strictly a rental and not much else.
(Full Review): http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/action/mirrorsedge/player_review.html?id=635488
Saints Row 2 (360): Best Sandbox/Freeroam I've played. Flaws don't even matter. You palty this simply to have fun messing around! Read my review! Rent if you must, but buy is the right choice!
(Fulll Review): http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/action/saintsrow2/player_review.html?id=635494
Legendary (360): OH THE HUMANITY! If you want a good laugh read my review.
(Full Review): http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/action/legendarythebox/player_review.html?id=635497
F.E.A.R. Files (360): An avoidable game. Stick with F.E.A.R. or the new one coming out.
(Full Review): http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/action/fearfiles/player_review.html?id=561796
Left 4 Dead (360): Great zombie killing game with great Coop. But only worth it if you have friends to play it with.
(Full Review): http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/action/left4dead/player_review.html?id=635500
Tomb Raider (360): Fun game with great big puzzles and stunning levels. Best for a rental since theres not much to do after beating it.

So time to catch up on Aracade/Demo/Misc reviews. Starting with older items first up until current items!
Duke Nukem 3D (360 Arcade): Amazing game. I bought it hands down. You even get some other episodes from expansions for D3D. Plus you can play online or offline with friends AND you get the great abililty to rewind time when you die so you play from wherever you want! And you can even fo through the leaderbioards and download clips of them playing! Its just amazing. Must buy!
War World (360 Arcade): This game I had fun with but it turns out I was one of a few. Visually the game isn't bad but thats about it. Its a fun mech game but it has some big glitches all over and sadly no one really bought it so you really can't find anyone to play with. Especially currently at years end. Save your points.
Mega Man 9 (360 Arcade): I love Mega Man but this game is impossible. Only download this if your one of those elite people who claims to beat Ninja Gaiden 2 on its hardest setting without dying once. Because this game is beyond hardcore.
PES 2009 (360 Demo) & NBA 2K9 (360 Demo): Didn't bother playing. Its sports!
Viva Pinata Trouble In Paradise (360 Demo): Fun demo. I like mini-games but not really worth buying the actuall game. Stick to things like Mario Party or something.
Beat N Groovy (360 Aracde): Sadly this game was pretty fun but for 800 points there wasn't enough songs and the worst thing was the controls suck. For a DDR clone they didn't need to make such horrible controls. It ruined a potentionaly good DDR clone.
Shadow Assault/Tenchu (360 Arcade): Naturally I thought I'd love this game seeing as how I loved Tenchu. But this game was bad. I played the full version at a friends and its crappy further in and online is just no fun at all. Another nail in the Tenchu coffin.
MLB Stickball (360 Arcade): Really? Like I care.
Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway (360 Demo): Awsome game! Demo gives you just enough taste to leave you wanting more and trust me theres planety more in the full game!
Age of Booty (360 Arcade): Couldn't get into it past a few minutes. As much as I love pirates this feels just like yet another board game...yawn.
Madagascar 2 (360 Demo): Played....uh...yeah...for kids really. Movie funny, game boring.
Crazy Mouse (360 Arcade): Game looked weird and I was right. To much to do. Kinda like a weird bomberman/frogger thing. Wait for something better.
Tom Clancys Endwar (360 Demo): This demo saved me a rental! The voice system looked so useful in the videos but once you play it you found quickly two things. 1. Voice system is a pain. 2. Using your controller is still quicker at times then using your voice. And overall this game sucked anyways. Should have been called "Endgame".
Scene it: Box Office Smash (360 Demo): This was actually very fun. Its much better then the original game. It was good enough it got me to rent the full version!
Portal Still Alive (360 Arcade): OH...what sweet words....Portal. I'd pay the 1200 for it... heck theres even new levels! Then I head the news....there are no cheats. WHAT? Heck you can't play it online so who cares...add cheats back! For those of us that beat it cheats made the game practically have infinit replay! Without them then its just....boring. With cheats its worth 1200, without its not. And face it at this point... well evne then you could by The Orange Box for around the same price and get more games then just Portal!
Are You Smarter Then a 5th Grader (360 Arcade): Eh. This game was ok. Never cared much for the show anyways. Its really up to you. Like most gameshow games its gonna run out of questions at some point.
Penny Arcade Adventures (360 Arcade): Didn't play it just because I don't care much for Penny Arcade and the game looked boring. Yes I know what your thinking.
Tomb Raider Underworld (360 Demo): Fun game. Although the demo level is a bit more confusing them most of the levels in the full version. So don't be put off by that. The full version is much funner.
Banjo Kazzoie Nuts and Bolts (360 Demo): Played it and just wasn't my thing. If you never cared for this before then nothing really will change for you.If you liked it before then you will probably like it now.
Mirrors Edge (360 Demo): WOW....just...WOW! I can't recall how many times I played this demo and showed it to people! This game is special like Portal is. The full version is even better! If you don't like it I urge you to at least rent it. And better yet try it WITHOUT shooting a bullet. Its a rush and its not that hard.Talk about achievements that feel good. I don't care about achievements but this one did feel special.
Naruto the Broken Bond (360 Demo): Didn't play this either. I can't stand Naruto. Sorry.
Lego Batman (360 Demo): The game was fun but its probably the least fun of the Lego games. Maybe just because its Batman, not sure. I haven't rented it yet so I'll let everyone know eventually.
Vigilante 8 (360 Arcade): I loved the Vigilante games. This game is pretty good but it plays pretty crappy online and needs some major work which probably will never happen. Sadly also theres not much to do so its not worth it for 800.
NCAA Basketball 09 (360 Demo): -SNORE-
Left 4 Dead (360 Demo): Great game. Demo pulled you into it and made you want to kick some more zombie butt! Although the online isn't all that grand if your a zombie I must say. Give it a rent! Not worth purchasing IMO though.
Bolt (360 Demo): Tried it for the heck of it. Its..."cute". Kids probably will like it. Nothing amazing.
A Kingdom for Keflings (360 Arcade): Uh this game is just weird. Its a game for your avatars and while it has its fun parts its nothing more then a cheesy way to use your avatars. Save your points for a good avatar game. This is just not worth it.
Dead Space (360 Demo): This game I wasn't sure about. Horror games tend to be good but nothing special. This demo got me hooked but I needed to see more. The rental of the full game made love this game... although not enough to buy it. Once you beat it theres nothing really more to do.
C&C Red Alert 3 (360 Demo): I didn't play the demo because I own it for PC but my friend said the controls hold it back like every otehr RTS for consoles. That has always been my problem too. RA3 is a great game....just not for consoles unless you can handle the controls. Then by all means get it because it has lots of replay in online and in skirmish modes.
Banjo Kazzoie (360 Arcade): This is simply about if you liked the original game or not. I liked it and beat it but I wouldn't want the game again. If you haven't played it remember while the mechanices are the same its not a current gen game (this one).
Sonic Unleashed (360 Demo): I love sonic but I can't wrap my head around these 3D versions. To hard to figure out what exactly is going on. It was fun but I'll skip it. Unless your insanely hardcore fans of Sonic I'f skip it too.
Powerup Forever (360 Arcade): This game is pretty cool. Obviously its based off the first stage in Spore. The games fun but its not easy. I'll get it if it goes down in price. But for now its to much for me.
Meteos Wars (360 Arcade): Another average arcade game. Nothing special about it and its price doesn't help. Try the trial but more then likley you'll skip buying it.
Dash of Destruction (360 Arcade): Its free amd for once its not bad. its not perfect either. Who cares...just get it, make some easy achievement points and delete it after lol.
MotoGP 08 (360 Demo): Fun and all but the event of motorcycles really needs some more flavor to it. This does nothing for me anymore.
Legendary (360 Demo): I wish I had played this BEFORE I rented the game. This game is crap. The demo is crap too. The name makes sense. It will go down as a legend... the only game that probably had more people watching its videos then playing the game.
Puzzle Arcade (360 Arcade): Honestly I thought this was junk at first, especialy for 800. I like puzzle but not that much. But after a friend came over and said he'd play it if I bought it I really enjoy this now. Its got some fun modes and you get a new puzzle every week with future content PROMISED. There are lots of options for things like AI, diffrent shapes, difficulties and pieces from like 6-10,000 or some crazy number and you can save your puzzle for later completion! One of the modes as you work on the puzzle changes! The day time scene turns to evening then night as you finish! Wonderful idea! Or another mode the puzzle explode every 5 seconds unless you put a piece togther...etc. Theres alot of modes to choose from!
Merv Griffins Crosswords (360 Arcade): Not so much a fan of Crosswords. The game is pretty good but it has some issues online and frankly isn't all that fun to being with.
PHEW...thats the end of those reviews!
Onto full game reviews!
