So I went to see Jimmy Carr last night, can I just say he was amazing. I was a bit skeptical because I went with my mum and I thought I'd be cringing the whole way through because most his jokes involve sex or are about serious, generally unfunny subjects, but he just has the chrisma to make the cringiness go away and for you to just enjoy yourself. He took questions from the audience and the poor girl beside me asked him if he "Was getting married to his girlfriend" he replied "No, are you getting married", she said "No" then he asked "Then why are you asking me, is it because you want me? How old are you" she told him she was "Sixteen" and he went "Oh yea, I'm in luck" then the whole theatre shouted "It's 17 in N. Ireland" and he turns to the girl and says, "Well baby, we''re only a flybe ticket away." Then once she thought the embarassment was over another person asked "What's your ultimate goal in life" and Jimmy replies "Well I wouldn't mind having a go on her."

Someone yelled something he couldn't make out because they had a strong Belfast accent and he says "A bit of an inappropriate time to start a sing song don't you think?" Then he joked about the bomb scare in Brelfast yesterday and the murals around Belfast. Probably only N.I residents would find the jokes funny because we all know the history.

Anyway it was a great night. I recommend him to anyone and just want to reassure anyone who wasn't sure if it would be too embarrasing to go with family.
