Hey all

In English we have been reading the play Blood Brothers by Willy Russell, I am a huge Blood Brothers fan so reading it has been really exciting for me and has made me think of flying over to London to go watch it in the Phoneix Theatre.

I really wish they'd make a Blood Brothers movie because it would be bloody awesome. It would take a lot of work to adapt the play into a movie but it'd be worth it.

For those who don't know, Blood Brothers is a play about a single mother who can barely scrape by who is expecting 2 more kids so she decides to give one away to a wealthy woman. The story revolves a lot around Superstition and how childhood games and innocence can become so much more in the future.

It's a great play. I recommend it.

Sorry, got bored and decided to tell you all about this lmao.

I've never read the play myself but a few people in my year performed it as their final piece for their Drama GCSE and I think some other people studied it for English. I quite liked the story and I might consider reading it at some point. Are you sure there's never been a film made on it? :O That's a bit strange because it is a well-known play.

There's never been a film made, there have been talks going on for years about one but nothing seems to have come of the talks.

Your English reading sounds so much better than mine! (Or at least more comprehendable lmao.) We're reading the Odyssey. It's fairly intersting, But i'm SO confused. Hahah
