It's been a looooong time since I played these games, but your thread reminded me of it so much, especially the monastery level. To me, the puzzles in I and II aren't nearly as memorable as those from IV (The Last Revelation) and I strongly urge you to play that one next. Among the old TR games, TRI and TRIV are the most mentioned as the favourites. Personally, I thought IV was the best of them.

Anyway, it's great to finally finish a game. Congratulations! I also would challenge myself to get all the secrets and finish the game without using any health packs.

Old school! I did that awhile back; playing classics that is. Beat Chrono Trigger after not playing it since I was a fetus (lol). It's always good to go back because you never realize how great old games were. You grew up with 'em you know?
