I haven't done a blog in awhile.....so I figured I'd do one!
Not too much has been going on with me. The end of the semester is fast approaching, so I have to stress about finals and stuff. Hopefully it won't be too bad.
Today I don't have school because of college inservice, so my mom and I are gonna go shoe-shopping, and I'm also gonna get my hair cut and highlighted auburn. Just to change it up a bit. I usually do blonde, but this year I decided to try auburn.
This summer I'll be staying in Iowa, as my camp didn't give me my job back. So I may take a summer class or something, or just hang out with friends.
American Idol has started up again, so I've been mostly hanging out on one of their official websites, idolforums.com (IDF) in the section for Adam Lambert. He is my favorite contestant this year, because he's not afraid to be different, and at the same time he's very humble. Every time he's declared safe (he has yet to be in the bottom 2 or 3) he says thank you to the audience. So far, 6 contestants have been eliminated (there are 13 contestants instead of the usual 12): Jasmine Murray, Jorge Nunez, Alexis Grace, Michael Sarver, Megan Joy and Scott MacIntyre. Last week Kellie Pickler sang her hit song "The Best Days Of Your Life", which I really like. I actually like it better than the first single off her new CD, which I felt was a total rip-off of "This One's For The Girls" by Martina McBride. And next week Miley Cyrus will be performing "The Climb", which I think is such a beautiful song. And one of my teachers heard it somewhere on TV and she said she liked the message it gave. She didn't know who sang it, but she said the lyrics and I immediately identified it as Miley's song.
Speaking of Miley, the Hannah Montana movie came out yesterday. My sister, a huge fan of the show, is begging to go see it. She reminded my parents every day that it came out Friday. So I'm guessing they'll prolly take her to see it. I am planning on attending my old high school's spring musical tomorrow night. This year they are performing "Evita", another one I've heard of, but never seen. AI season 7 alum Brooke White sang one of the songs from the Evita movie on Idol the week they performed songs of Andrew Lloyd Weber, who wrote "Evita". Brooke is coming out with her own CD, "High Hopes and Heartbreak", this June on her birthday. I will be buying it for sure, and then I will give a review once I get it.
This Sunday is Easter. I don't think my family's doing much. Prolly just hanging out and eating chocolate.
That's all I have on my mind today.....I will try to update this blog more often!
Hasta.

The big question for you is, what did you think of the two guys who sang Carrie's songs? Danny Gokey sang "Jesus, Take the Wheel" and Matt Giraud sang "So Small" and accompanied himself on piano (no surprises there, cuz he's a dueling pianist).
Megan (the girl you're referring to) was voted off 2 weeks ago.
Last week Scott MacIntyre, who is 98% visually impaired, was eliminated so I'm guessing you saw him.
Maybe I'll actually be able to watch Leno now. Since I don't really stay up watching TV.

I was really impressed with how the red haired girl (Allison i think) sang "Blame it on your Heart". I didn't think she'd do country very well but she OWNED that song!!
