GAMES: GameSpot GameFAQs MOVIES: Metacritic Movietome Comic-Con

So today was nice, I spent some time with my family we went to the movies and saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory(Not Batman Begins) and actually it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be! Though the popcorn sucked and made me sick so now I've had this stomachache since I left the theaters. I never really liked popcorn at the theaters anyways, so why do I eat it then?

Now I played Halo 2 finally, it had been a while since I played, a little more than half a year so as you can imagine I sorta sucked at it, big time! LOL my brothers beat me so bad in team slayer it wasn't even funnny! Anyways I'll get better then kick their butts But I was still shocked I was so horrible at it, lol guess that's what happens when you don't play Halo 2 for a while

Also I have a little over a 1000 posts so yay! LOL took me long enough I will soon level up to whatever is on level 10! This is pretty short maybe because I'm sorta tired*shrugs*Who knows well goodnight and I'll make a better entry tomorrow or something.....and before I forget, I still can't view my PMs and journal comments on my computer, instead I need to go on my brothers' all the time but it's even since I'm letting him play one of my games, well goodnight!

Bah, I haven't watched that movie yet... Too bad about that popcorn, I usually like eating them in movies.
Hmm, I haven't played Halo 2 for a long, long time either, do you think I'll be as bad as you?
And yeah, you can write a better entry tomorrow if you want, and keep commenting on mine!

Sick from popcorn, huh? Take some Milanta... they have that in Arizona, right? Milanta? Oh, well, just take some stomach medicine.

I haven't played Halo 2 in awhile, but I don't lose my skill if I don't play something in a long time, I just get a little rusty. I could still share some pointers with you, though:

If your opponent has a beam sword, and they try to use the rushing uppercut on you, sidestep, without turning, and you will dodge the strike. You can follow that up with a one-hit-knockout by giving them a melee attack from behind. I can give you some more tips later.

Level 10 is Phoenix Down, the revival items from the Final Fantasy series.

Hum.... you CAN'T dodge an energy sword.
Posted Jul 31, 2005 5:31 pm PT
It's tricky, but not impossible... unless Xbox Live subscribers got an update to change that.
Posted Jul 31, 2005 6:23 pm PT
Congrats about the movie.
Too bad about the popcore..
Congrats about your 1000 posts!
Sorry about getting beat in Halo 2.

Matt:It was different, I actually like Johnny Depp playing Willy Wonka better than the originalYes the sleep did help, thank you, but thinking about it still cause my stomach to turn LOL, three offers so far for Halo 2, maybe we could all do live (whenever I get it) and show me Um sorry Mattieu(look no "h"!) but what do you mean, regarding the journal comments I mean. And young man do you really think you should be up at 5:24am?? I hope you won't get sick staying up late all the time Aww thanks for the hug

phazer: LOL, don't intend on doing so? Yeah maybe I'll just make some at my house then go to the theaters But that's more than once I've gotten sick from movie popcorn! So no more for me!! LOL, maybe but I wasn't great to begin with, only good. Who knows though, you might've
Yeah at night I'll write a better one

RPG-er:LOL, never have problems with the candy...except peanut-butter M&Ms, never again will I try those! I'll just bring sour candy or carrots or something Yeah you can never go wrong with nachos Sorry RPG-er, I already saw it, maybe next time

Vega:LOL, yeah what level are you at? Still going high? BTW, you didn't tell me that one chick at the union was your girl friend

Googley:LOL, Googley, I'm not in some unmodern, foreign country Yes we do have Milanta here but I took some other stomach medicine.
LOL, I don't for most games but Halo was just one of those
Oh thanks for the tip, I'll have to pull that one some timeAnd I'll be looking forward to those tips
Ah, Phoenix Down again? I had that last time but they changed the names again.

SuperDumbGuy:Thankyou
It's ok
Thanks again
I'll get better again
LOL, I liked that post of your's

Googley : You just can't. The sworder will still touch your arm/shoulder and kill you. When you succeed to dodge a sword, it's because there was a lag somewhere or that the sworder hit a ledge/stairs/pillar/whatever and got deflected.

Nath : Depp is my favorite Actor Hurting again?? Halo anytime I meant, since you said you still aren't able to see your Journal Comments I could have told them to you... Aww no 5:24 AM?? What about 6:45 AM?? Stop worrying for me.... No need to thank me... if you need another hug, tell me Anytime!

Natalie: Unmodern, foreign country? Nah, I just didn't know if perhaps Milanta was a local product. I know that there are some name brand products that exist in New Jersey that don't exist in Florida, so I was just being on the safe side.

Matt: Maybe it was a fluke when I dodged the attack, because I play the game off-line, so there wouldn't be any lag. When I pulled the move, I sidestepped without turning until after my opponent passed by me. I'll have to test this tomorrow. You seem so sure that it doesn't work that it's starting to make me think that it may have been a glitch.
Posted Aug 1, 2005 2:34 am PT
I just can't figure how you can sidestep fast enough... You may be right... that's maybe why I always lose in swords games
Posted Aug 1, 2005 6:03 am PT
I usually feel like watching a movie but eventually forget about it and soon enough realize that it's being shown on HBO.
And I never had problems with popcorn.
I'll try out Halo 2 XBL again after my final-year-exams. Oh wait, but that time Xbox 360 might be out already...

Matt/Goggle: I've heard that you can dodge sword lunges too, if you sidestep at the right time. Haven't tried it though, since I just try to run away blindly when that happens.
Posted Aug 1, 2005 8:41 am PT
I prefer using plasmas to stick him or Shotgun
Posted Aug 1, 2005 4:16 pm PT
Bah, I could never stick people when I was playing Halo 2 XBL...
I tried numerous times to get that medal, but always miss.
I prefer Energy Sword though, it's always satisfying to lunge right to other players.
The Shotguns gametype is fun though.
Posted Aug 4, 2005 12:05 pm PT
Googley: Oh LOL, that's what you meant Hmm I'm not sure if we have any local products like that in AZ Probably....

Mathieu: No way! Really, LOL, me too What's your favorite movie he's in? K, then it's a deal! When I get XBL then we'll all play Halo! Oh and thank you for reading me my comments the other day LOL, well I guess I'll just have to find something else to worry about since I can't convince you to get any sleep LOL, I willBTW, I'm glad you finally figured out how to use the color, good job

Phazer:LOL, that happened to me a few couple times....hey maybe if I forget about it, Batman will be out in no time!No problems with popcorn? Lucky Oh well...maybe you can use a friend's Xbox360, shouldn't be too hard sice you attend an all-boys institute.

Ok, so about Halo 2 since everyone is talking about it....I have a question, can you kill someone with an energy sword while they're on a ghost or some other vehicle? And can you hijack a banshee when it's up super high and you just jump from a cliff onto it? Or will that just cause you to die?
Posted Aug 4, 2005 4:35 pm PT
Yeah, I didn't watch The Last Samurai and they're showing it on HBO already.
Nah, I want my own X360, but even so, not many people in my school will have it anyway. Or at least, none of my friends will have it...
About the Halo 2 questions: Dunno about the ghost, as for the banshee, if the cliff is too high I think you will die before you reach the ground, but if not, you'll be able to hijack it if you're close enough.
I tried it in the single-player campaign mission, The Arbiter, I exited my banshee mid-air, and hijacked another one while it was flying below me. Had to take a number of tries though.
Posted Aug 5, 2005 3:40 pm PT
Phazer : Never??
I don't really like close-range weapons. I prefer rifles. That's why I don't like the Assault Rifle in Halo 1... they called it Assault Rifle even though it's not a rifle at all. I still don't understand why some people want it back... it sucked big time.
Yeah I admit Shotgun CTF on Midship is cool

Nath : My favorite Johnny Depp movie (which is also my favorite movie of all-time) is Pirates Of The Caribbean Woohoo! That means I'll hear your voice! No problem Anytime! Darn worrying.... Yay!

And about Halo 2... Yes you can kill someone in a vehicle with an energy sword (except Scorpion and Wraith). If the Banshee is reachable.... yes you can hijack it.
Posted Aug 5, 2005 5:20 pm PT
Phazer:LOL, now's your chance
Your own hmm? Don't like sharing Oh well that's too bad not too many of your friends will have it. Either would mine because of my guy friends, they're not into games as much as me and of my girl friends they don't like the xbox

LOL, that's so cool!! I didn't know you can just fly above it then hijack it when you jump out!!! OMGosh I'm going to have to try that How about, Edward Scissor-Hands?

Matt:LOL, yeah Johnny Depp looks good in Pirates of the Carribean! Too bad he's so old though
LOL, I guess you would There's nothing the mater with being concerned for the well-being of others
So to attack them, do you need to be on the side of the ghost? Or an you be in the front? LOL, well thanks for the information
Posted Aug 6, 2005 7:28 pm PT
He's not soooo old
Well, sometimes you worry really TOO much!
Side or behind.
Posted Aug 7, 2005 1:21 am PT

Mat: Yeah, never...
I kind of suck with rifles, so I prefer close-range weapons.

Nat: Yeah, I would rather have my own 360.
I'm in the same situation as you... Either they don't play at all, or they don't play the Xbox...
I saw someone posting about doing that in Halo 2, so I decided to try it out for myself.
Posted Aug 7, 2005 2:50 am PT
Matt: LOL, 40-something is a little old
LOL, you going to tell me that every time I'm concerned about you?

Phazer: LOL life can just suck that way LOL, why must it be that way?! Anyways I'll give it a shot some day
Posted Aug 17, 2005 11:27 pm PT
I'm glad to see you like me enough to be concerned about me... but you really worry too much!
