It's been a while since I done a blog.
As I've been doing other things being busy which were more important. I'm still here in the U.S and loving every minute of it.
Although my perception of America has been changed as I've had my eye's opened by Meghan.
She told me that people here get annoyed when they hear people saying how great it is here, When they have no clue about it, but at the same time. I opened Meghan's eyes to what Image of America is painted to people in other countries. America has been painted to be the land of dreams, hopes and glory.
America is the best country, in my opinion however America doesn't have the best people living in it. Since being here I've heard people making jokes about how they arn't living in America anymore even a John Wayne Picture with the text "Why should I have to press 1 for English."
The other day I had my own run in, I went to Mc Donalds and a Mexican said something to me in Spanish, I don't understand Spanish so I asked the guy at the counter if he could translate... He basicly said that the Mc donalds was "for Americans only" and he was for real. I simply replied "What are you doing here then?"
The common average guy here, has a lot! to learn about how to treat women here. I.e learn to treat with respect and not be like jerks all the time, which is the only thing I've seen here. America has lost it's romance and the women have gotten used to it because, I guess simply the men are too lazy and obnoxious.
Meghan found it funny, how I kissed the back of her hand, as she explained guys just don't do that here. Which is a shame, half the fun is in the chase and the women make it to easy for them. You women should make it harder and make them earn your love not hand it out, because you get told "you should feel privileged that we want you" or words to that effect.
It's kind of sad I find that Romance has been lost in the U.S, I'm also getting used to the greeting methods used here to say your hot, the hand-methods of saying your hot instead of just saying it to someone. I don't know I guess it's just my reservedness which is the problem.
I am not saying that I don't like America, I am just saying I've had my eyes opened instead of how I was. Seeing how the best country in the world at times can seem to be stuck in the 1930's, Especially with the medical system, where people that need treatment because they are desperately ill, can be turned away because they can't afford the Ambulance and the treatment.
Or how controlling the government is with the Taxes or the state systems, I had never heard of the need to have a license to ride a push bike before until, I came here to PA.
The whole time, I've spent here has been an eye-opener for me and very full filling, Also very rewarding, I'm glad that I've been woken from my dream, I guess.
The best thing out of all this, is I found a Future wife and future step-son, that makes me feel both loved and wonderful more than anything I could of imagine.
Meghan is truly, a diamond in the rough.
