It's just a little bit longer until Infinity Ward's baby is released for all the world to see. So what do you think it will be like? What are your expectations?
Here's a short list of mine:
-The game will disappoint. Millions of people will feel that they got their money's worth, but there will be plenty of pissed-off fanboys that will run straight back to COD4.
-The Metacritic ranking will be in the high 80s to low 90s, at about 91% to 93%. The lack of innovation will drag it down for some.
-You will play as a bad guy in the story, or at the least someone with a very different perspective.
-Multiplayer will be horribly unbalanced - because of all the effort put into creating variety and action.

The only improvements for MW2 I can think of would be a longer campaign possibly with player customizations, split-screen multiplayer online and most of all fixing the buggy A.I. issues which plagued the series since the beginning of time (ever have an enemy run past all your friendlies and gun you down without being noticed?)
MW2 will most likely just receive updated graphics, a shorter campaign with more action-movie sequences, and a tacked-on co-operative mode. Not to mention IW dated their first DLC for Spring 2010 it will be a while before we even see anything new, and most COD fans like myself will feel cheated (free map pack giveaway to Monster energy drink promotion winners?)

Heh, I forgot about split-screen online. I really doubt they will add that either.

For Me I will love the single player. The COD 4 single player is my most favorite single player FPS.
It will be a great game. Now will Infinity Ward do Future Warfare?
For COD 1 it was like a 90's metacritic, and COD2 was a 85 86. Had great moments, but still not as wowsing as the first game, but when you go back and play the first game its not as epic/ gunfire and noises going on in the background.
I expect the Hammer 2-5 to be at bingo fuel and you the player will be the last one to jump up to the chopper.
I expect a commander officer to say "Were going in deep, and going in hard"
I also expect leading expedition officer to say "Stay frosty" and Soap MacTavish telling the you Capt. Price would be impress the same way Capt Price said to you MacMillian would be impressed for the mission to rescue Nikolai.
Another IW employee will be one of the modeled characters.

hmm maybe but overall i think even if its not brillant it will still recive good scores and sell loads simply because the cod fanbase is massive and everyone hypes it up, i might buy it on realease day depends if im bored of uncharted 2 by then

I am really looking forward to it. I believe that it will get scores of 9s and possibly 10s but we gotta look out for the COD haters. I have encountered a lot recently.

Those are some pretty negative predictions i don't got much, will probably wait a few months before getting it.
