Ok, so I said that the next post would be a look at the most anticipated games, but I'm too tired to type all that tonite, so maybe tomorrow. ![]()
I've seen a lot of great movies lately. First off, is The Dark Knight. Just amazing beyond words. I remember a couple years ago when they first announced that they cast Heath Ledger as the Joker, I was like, what? But holy crap. He outdid himself in this movie, he really did. It's a shame he isn't alive to see his success. Seriously, phenomenal movie! If you haven't seen it, go do it right now! Stop reading, and get to your nearest theater and watch it! If it hasn't come out in your country yet...just sit tight...you can see it soon! ![]()
I also went and saw Wall-E. It was sooooooo cute!!! Seriously, cutest movie I've seen in a long time. I actually went and saw that one alone. I've never been to the movies alone before. For some reason, it just kinda never registered that you don't have to have someone with you to go to the movies lol. So I caught a matinee by myself, and you know what? It was nice! Relaxing. I think I might do it again this weekend! lol
I also rented a couple of movies. Haven't watched one of them yet, but I watched the other one twice! Sweeney Todd! Ooh, I love it! I wanna see the actual play now. And for the record, the song "Joanna" is so beautiful. The rest of the music is quirky (in a good way), but then you've got that beautiful piece of music thrown in. And I love how the orchestration fits perfectly with what is happening on screen. Just brilliant.
The other movie I got is Shoot'em Up. Action movie, Clive Owen, should be good!
Til next time! Adios!

I also saw the play not to long after the movie and it wasn't bad but Mrs.Lovett's singer was very bad compared to Helena Bonham Carter.
A few to prove the point that he was the bad guy was fine but I really think they went a bit too far, especially since this is about Batman there will be many, many children seeing watch it
Regardless of whatever type of warning they use kids are going to flock to see Batman and manage to get in to the theatre....I always found a way to sneak in to the Vita Theatre when I was a kid and I'm sure this generation is at least as clever
It's not the filmmakers' fault if kids see an adult movie. By that logic, no film should have blood or gore in because it's possible for kids to see it. It's the same illogical argument that is thrown at videogames so often; they can't be violent because kids might play them. It's well within the rights of WB to make a mature film and the fact that they backed up the violence with a good story and performances is all the better.
Yeah, The Dark Knight was an incredible film. I loved every moment of it, the story was excellent and every single character had their moment to shine. Everything about it was amazing.
I WILL see The Godfather and Citizen Kane one of these days, as so many people spaz out about them. Maybe if I weren't so busy (wasting my time) doing other things...
