The PS3 was devolped with hardcore bloody game fans in mind.If you are a Shooter fan then you should buy the PS3 although the high price.Because the PS3 will be getting Resistence,Killzone,MAG,Siren Blood Curse,and many more.But they also got some for the younger audience like Fat Princess,and the great LittleBigPlanet.But I know you love Final Fantasy and I guess you just want that.But I would say get a PS3 now.And when you buy it you could pick up Motorstorm,Metal Gear Solid 4,Ratchet and Clank Future:Tools of Destruction,Uncharted Drakes Fortune,Warhawk,Heavenly Sword and so on and so on.You would have one amazing time with a PS3.

I don't have a PS3, but I still want one. It's too bad it has too many FPS games though. I never liked FPS games.

I picked up a PS3 last year and (thus far) have picked up about 10 games, only three of which have been really worth it. That is opposed to the 30 some-odd for my 360 which have been, frankly, much more worth it. I suppose I never really had the option of NOT buying a PS3 as MGS4 was a must have, but it doesn't mean I can't still be bitter about the purchase...

Agreed. At this point, there is absolutely no reason to buy a PS3, other than MGS4. That's only one game, and I really don't want to have a console just to wait for games. I might get a PS3 later down the line when God of War 3 comes out, along with Final Fantasy XIII versus which is currently said to be exclusive. To be honest, I don't believe Killzone 2 looks that amazing anymore, and Resistance 2 just is a typical shooter.

Hah I also need to get a PSP for Crisis Core.

Might actually be getting a PS3 with the price drop myself, since I'm never getting a Wii after that dumb press conference.

Hey that's cool. I've had my PS3 since launch and I've enjoyed it since. White Knight Story which is an rpg for the PS3 is one that you might want to keep an eye on.

MGS, Silent Hill and Resident Evil are still for the PS3 and those are my main considerations. FF is not available on the 360 everywhere, either.

I'd still sooner get FFXIII on PS3 rather than 360 (presuming I'm buying it at all; I'm unimpressed with it so far). I find that my PS3, with MGS4, Uncharted, Heavenly Sword, etc, to be far more worthwhile than my 360 with ... nothing, really. Dead Rising, maybe, but my enjoyment for that is long gone and I've never liked Gears Of War or Halo. My money was wasted on those two games. Not to mention my PS3 is more reliable, has HD and I don't need a battery recharger just to use it ... still, that'll change with Fable 2. But, even though I love Fable, it'll have to pull off something truly phenomenal to compete with the incredible LittleBigPlanet.
