11:30 Show starts with 5 teens from Ohio who play the halo theme song live.
11:37 Still playing, havent announced a price drop yet.
11:40 Peter Moore takes the stage and says every game showed off tonight will be available in 2007. They start playing Rock Band and Moore fails the song within 60 seconds
11:42 After failing out, Moore makes a complete dick out of himself by singing the song even though he doesnt have the microphone
11:44 Mario Party 9... I mean Viva Pinata Party Animals trailer. Still no price drop
11:46 MASS EFFECT OMFG!!!

11:57 A SCENE IT Xbox 360 EXCLUSIVE?!?!?!?! Comes with 4 special game show-esque controllers, could be kinda cool. Still no price drop. Ubisoft's making a Naruto game exclusively for the 360, just in case anyone in Japan is watching.
12:01 Reggie Bush is here to demo Madden 08. Reggie Bush plays as himself and breaks a 70+ yard touchdown run against the Microsoft Marketing dude.
12:06 Xbox Live Arcade montage. Plenty of original games mixed with ports, looks awesome. Sonic and Golden Axe are available to download now. Apparently Disney is bringing its movies to the video marketplace. They show off a bunch of new movies going up tonight and almost makes me excited until i remember that they take 20-30 minutes to download and you only have them for a day. Bummer.
12:11 Marketing guy goes away, the head of Microsoft Game Studios is up and talks up games MS is publishing. PGR4 demo woohoo! Still no price drop.
12:21 Lost Odyssey trailer. It's gettin pretty late - wheres the price drop and gray 360?

12:23 Cliffy B is here, playin a co-op game with Live Anywhere and using a 360 controller. They show a battle not in the original game against a "new" enemy (he was in a trailer you just never fought it). Looks like im gonna haveta torrent this.
12:25 Moore's back. If theres a price change, itll be soon. Games for Windows live will be built into Unreal Engine 3. PC Trailers. Does Crysis look like Far Cry to anyone else? Called Bioshock an exclusive "to both the Xbox 360 and Games for Windows"
12:30 Call of Duty 4 trailer. Technically looks great, but i dunno if its gonna be anything revolutionary. Theres a demo "We're going deep and we're going hard" says the Infinity Ward developer on hand about their teams dedication to the project. I dunno, it went from generic FPS to tactical shooter, and i don't care for either.
12:39 They show the new GTA IV trailer weve already seen. Apparently gameplay for both trailers were captured from an XBox 360
12:42 Just in case that dude in Japan is watching, they talk about developers. HOLLY @#$% RESIDENT EVIL 5 TRAILER. Coming out in 2008, the "only exception" to all the games being available in 2007. The game seems to take place in Africa, the **** level's pretty high.

All in all, a solid lineup of games for this year. Nothing really big, but theyre going to be heavily criticized for not announcing a price drop. But when you think about all of the games that they have coming this year, they really don't need one.

As if enough people aren't talking about the new features on the site.
I give the new GameSpot an 8.4- it's still in its transition and there are still plenty of things that need to be improved before its back up at 100%. The forums are up, that's a good sign but the HotSpot is still a little messed up.
I'm putting up reviews for the following games this week:
Pokemon FirRed
Pokemon Colosseum
Mario Superstar Baseball
Madden NFL 06
